Are there retro videogame stores in Japan?

    Only specialty shops and they won't pay redonkulous prices either like we do often for their games. The only thing I can think of that did sell well in Japan was the Sega Nomad, I helped my friend sell a bunch of them on YJ a few years back, back when it was worth it.

    Well, Tokyo isn't all hams and plaque. Back when I worked until 20:00 or later, I was fucked b/c just about everything closed then (including some ATMs). It's a bit better now in the city, but not fantastic.

    Yeah, Akihabara becomes a rather dead place in the evening. Except the "Adult Toys" (yes it's called that) store under one of the railway bridges....

    I don't remember the names of some of the stores in Akihabara, but in Osaka, the best place to go for all your retro gaming needs would have to be Super Potato ,Big Tiger, and another store who's name escapes me at the moment. All of these stores are convieniently located in Den Den Town, which is Osaka's Akiba equivalent. For what it's worth, Akihabara has a Super Potato too, but Osaka has like 7 of them.

    Nope I saw the atlus store had a us version of rhapsody for a ridiculous price though.
