Those Warhammer suits are actually pretty cool looking. But now it's time for more dorks.

Well if it makes you feel any better, even the cosplay community has their limits. The Man-Faye guy has been kicked out of so many cons its not even funny. As a matter of fact, I know of at least 2 cons that he'd been blacklisted totally a year or two ago.

I'm glad that the cosplay events don't encourage such nastiness.

To save all of our eyes from melting here are some "real" cosplay images.

Question: Is Man Faye for real, or is he mocking other cosplayers?

Yep, he's real. He really thinks he's doing the world a service by presenting his version of Faye Valentine. And yes, he wears no undies when he's in Man-Faye mode. He's got a few other female costumes that he tries to fit his hairy ass into and they all look just as bad.

he's banned from a lot of places, people don't tolerate that kind of crudeness everywhere.

Cosplay wouldn’t be nearly as ridiculed as it is if three simple rules were followed.

    1. Guys don’t dress as female characters. Most girls can’t pull off the typical anime girl. What makes you think you can?
    2. Stick to characters that are in your weight class. Faye Valentine wasn't 200lbs and nobody wants to see a 200lbs Faye Valentine.
    3. Try to stick to characters that at least look like you.. If spent all summer getting a tan maybe just maybe Rei Ayanami isn’t the character to choose for your next cosplay.

Here are 2 girls that obviously understand these rules

This one is for XerdoPwerko cause he likes the catgirls

I'd have to cosplay as Ramus from Lunar SSSC if I followed those rules.

    More DBZ...

While those rules are rational, the reality is not.

I met some otakus that were just plain crazy, thus they believed a 300lb Goku or Kaneda was nothing to laugh about.

And there's the girls. Is already amazing there are girls in this stuff, and you want a hot piece of ass? cute (and dumb) girls dont care about anime, but they do care about making a fool of themselves.

You'd be amazed at the hotness (and intelligence) that comes through the local anime con. They're also usually the ones with the best costumes. Scarily enough at least half the girls are pretty decent and/or normal.

The guys on the other hand pretty much follow the standard geeky formula. Throw a bar of soap in the room and watch 'em scatter like roaches when the light gets tripped.

I'll see if I can find pics of the locals for you guys.
