You are either into sluts or cock-teasers because thats all I find in anime girls in my town. Or sometimes I find a nice anime girl but is already taken and the guy she's with is fucking cheating on her and she knows it but thinks she can change him. Don't bother with those women.

You want a nice woman? Good luck, really.

Of course, the first sentence isn't meant to be taken as an insult. It just paints a picture to my experiences

Yeah. Those types of women are what we in the industry call "Raving Psychotics" or "Closet Freaks". My wife would happen to be one of them. If you see one, tread carefully or run away screaming.

Also, as a side note, never introduce one of these aforementioned women to ANY long running anime series or you WILL end up making stupid anime purchases with extra zeros tagged onto the end of the pricetag.

You know, I seem to meet a lot of very young women who are into anime and manga, say from ages 17 to 23. Which makes sense, seeing how the current craze didn't kick into high gear until about 1999 or so. Too bad though, most women in my age group (25 - 30) tend to be "above" that stuff.

 

In the US, the only chics that I knew that were into anime were not worth mentioning. Then again, I watched anime in the early to mid-90's, long before it was a phenomenon.

In Japan, I guess of my friends only one girl I knew was "into it", but not really. She wasn't a dork at all. In fact, she used to party balls until noon w/ the rest of us. I was helping her w/ her English, when she told me she was drawing a manga. She liked games as well. She apparently got a crowd of strangers clapping for her when she played DDR on a visit to NYC.

Worth mentioning though is that very few of my guy friends in either country were into games, and none were really into anime.

 

Only knew a handful of people in college who liked anime (all guys). My wife could take it or leave it. She does like games though (met her at an MTG tournament).

 

There are many very cute and very smart girls who like anime in my city. There are, of course, sluts, but there's a higher slut ratio in non-anime or non-gamer chicks.

I'm in the process of starting to date a very cute, pink-haired, anime-loving girl that's about 19 (having been dumped by my girlfriend of the last two years - whom I turned into an addicted gamer), and my other ex was a hardcore 2D gaming chick as well.

Maybe that's the only advantage of living in my city, and I hadn't considered it.

ALSO, there are many hot cosplayers.

 

Jesus, things are THAT good down there? WTF! I should be going to mexico, wanna switch places with me?.

Before any deals show me some proof of that (photos of the pink haired chicks for example).

I already made a deal like that some years ago with a guy from kosovo. He convinced me girls there were all like the Tatu. Too bad I switched during the bombardments:-(

 

Lol, there are girls like that everywhere. You just have to look in the right places (and know the right people as well ;-) )

I remember my friend wanted me to go with him and some girl to a anime convention and to cosplay and we were all going to be from Lupin the III......but we never went. I wonder what'd happen if you just went as Batman instead.

 

Usually pointed and laughed at since very few people have been able to do the batsuit justice. And I'm not talking about body types or anything, just the suit in general. Popsicle sticks and construction paper does not a bat-mask make. Granted we saw a very scary, but very good, version of the "Batman and Robin" movie Robin suit at DragonCon a few years ago. Bat-nipples and all.

 

That would have been a sight to see. I generally hate anime...but I love Lupin III.

Do a lot of people do Lupin Cosplay? I've never seen any Lupins, Jigens, etc in the random cosplay pictures I've seen...a google search a few though. I think Lupin, Jigen and the Inspector would make awesome costumes...

 

Same here, it was my idea since thats one of the few animes that don't bore the hell out of me. I was suppose to be the samarai dude (can't remember there names...)

 

That samurai dude is named Goemon, like in the Konami games.
