Well since this is an Acclaim thread.. Heres a lot of 82 proto's from Acclaims offices which I recently got. Ill be going through them soon starting with the unreleased Deadlands. So expect some videos and such soon.
now why did they think an old shape Corsa with crap wheels and a Vectra GSI style bumper would help sell a game.. Nice items though, is this everything you recovered or is there another thread with more of the story?
But did you go inside acclaim offices and looked for things and bought them? Or did they put it ALL out for auction? Was the auction in the offices and all the people bidding like crazy? I really want to know about the acclaim big sale. BTW very good items ASSEMbler.
I've got an alpha from the unreleased/unannounced Forsaken 2 for the PS2, I liked the first one very much. If someone has got more on this one I'd be interested I will do a video of this one in the near future. Hasn't Deadlands been released yet?
Deadlands is available on my site. If you want me to do video / release/ host video or whatever, just let me know Im currently working on stuff for another member here
I've always had some kind of mixed feelings for the original Forsaken. I do like the game, and have started it several times, but I always end up playing any other thing (usually Perfect Dark, as I have the N64 version). I have never heard they were making a sequel for PS2. Hope to see that video soon.
Me neither until I got the disc from a member of this forum. It's really an alpha, I'll do the video at some point this month. Sabre
Well, surprises like this make this forum so interesting . I undestand the game was in an early stage of development, but do you know if it let the player use a 3rd person perspective over the ship? I've always thought that it would've been great to see the ship in the original game, not only the aiming point.
When I bought up some of Acclaim, I got their game archive. I already boxed up most of it, but I remembered to take pictures of some of it. They had a really extensive game collection, from neo geo cd to import saturn. In all I must have gotten over 500 games, many sealed including a panorama cotton and a yu yu hakuso, and every virtual boy game released. I took pictures of most of the stuff that was Acclaim branded, like flying edge, etc. These games are 99% sealed and new.
Very nice - good to see some GG games in good nick. I had thought Layer Section was called Galactic Attack in PAL land, Rayforce in the US? Or just Rayforce in the US arcades? 3 titles for one game...very silly!
