*ATTENTION* All those attending London shows (ECTS) READ!!

OK, thought I'd make an 'Official' thread on this topic so we don't all get confused!

• We are going to London on Wednesday 1st September
  
  ECTS is trade only. You MUST register for your tickets, preferably in advance
  
  If you don't know anyone in the games/computer retail industry who can get you a ticket, contact me ASAP
  
  ECTS is at Earls Court and opens 10am. We will probably aim to get there approx. at the start, but join us when you can
  
  If anyone is driving, I would probably suggest going to Excel and parking there (tell them you're going to Gamestars ;-) ) - £8 all day, tube is about £5.60
  
  Some of us will be going on to CEX and maybe other places, anyone welcome. This will mean buying a tube ticket
  
  All those who are going contact me so we can exchange mobile numbers - especially important if we have different arrival times!
  
  The cheapest method of transport is coach... try www.nationalexpress.com - you can put Earls Court as destination but probably will get further putting Victoria Station. Also try www.megabus.com - don't forget you'll want to get there pretty early, though. I'd aim at getting to ECTS by 11 if at all possible

ECTS (free to trade, can sort that out)
Gamestars (£10 in advance £12 on door - public)
CEX / dinner / whatever !

I'd like to but couldn't get there until probably about 1130, Also I'm nontrade and only 16...guess that rules me out. which is a shame as I'd love to go.

Anyone got any ideas as to how i could get in? I'm guessing my age is the biggest problem

Edit: If i cant get into ECTS is it worth going to gamestars? Don't want to go and find out it's crap and i've just wasted about £30 on train/entry

Just booked my coach tickets. I have to be up @ 3:30am just to get up and ready to get my coach on time and be on my way there .... I wont even be @ ECTS untill 12ish .... Grrr .....

 

Is there a chance anyone could get me into the Ect? If not im gunna just to the public one.

Well, im going to be at ECTS around 11:00 at the earliest depending on tube delay's/murders. My return coach is at 6:30, so im up for anything up until about 5:30 when I have to leave for the station. CEX sounds good, but GameStars is off the menu as im going to that on Saturday.

If Retro can get me the ECTS ticket then I will book my coach tickets asap.

Seeing as I allready bought my coach tickets and they're now in the mail so can't be cancelled, on top of that I never got paid this week and won't be next week as there are no jobs on the ECTS trip means I'm gonna have a hard time paying the bills -_- I've posted some of my crap ... erm .. cool stuff for sale I wil b e updating it over the weekend with other items. To cut down on postage if you buy anything from me and are going to ECTS on Sep 1st I can bring yer stuff down in person :smt023

Other than that the latest I can take PayPal payments is late Tuesday / early Wednesday so I can bank the money in time for the trip. I can take UK cheques or postal orders provided they arrive a day before the show :-( If you are going I can also take your money from you at the show :smt030
