Back in Japan.

I'm in Tokyo from 8th-13th and 21st-25th of August.
I'll visit Shibuya, but my hotel is somewhere in the suburbs or at least not really in the centre (near Chidoricho Station, reachable via Gotanda St.).

I'd be really happy to go shopping with you, but we'd have to check the details before because I won't have internet/mobile phone in Japan (except internet cafés for short messages to my friends at home).

 

What are you dates? I live in Shibuya, but am a bit preoccupied w/ shitty diapers and whatnot. I do sneak out from time to time. Hopefully by the summer the little punk will be on a much more human sleep schedule.

No, I'll just have a 1w-stay in Kyoto including a 1day-trip to Denden Town.

Well it'd be great to have you two around not just for talking, shopping and so on but also because you can tell me then where I have to look for those omnious "boxes in the backyards" for my shipping project.;-)

I'd love to meet up with you Kev' but I'm a 1 hour 30 minutes flight away from Tokyo plus I have the same problem as GaijinPunch at the moment.

Anyways, I'm sure I can make some time at some point...especially in Shibuya or Shinjuku as I can cycle there. I've not been to Akihabara since the kid was born.

Well, I'll be staying in Japan for 5 weeks this summer, in Toyohashi(about 1,5-2 hours with the train to Tokyo) with a host family. Depending on them letting me get on the train alone I might be able to tag along.

We'd probably start best with telling about when we have some free space. I'm on vacation, so I'm always free.
