I tried the demo on a friends 360, it was pretty cool. Can't wait to play it on mine when it comes back from repair.

The fact its only 40$ is even better.

Do I need Banjo 3 to get Banjo 1? Will it be for sale separately on XBLA?

Bit suspicious of that site, god knows how a site in New Zealand gets games before the big sites. Sure it'll get 9s though. Doesn't seem like my thing though.

Yup. And I just bought the N64 one too!

The demo had a good sense of humor.

To be fair when I first heard about it I knew it wouldn't be as good as the old games. Checked out the demo myself the other day because being a fan of the old games I had to see if it might have proved me wrong but to be honest I wasn't impressed. Looking forward to the new HD version of the originals

like I said I wouldn't judge game based solely on playing the demo, from what Rare said, they assured that game will still contain significant chunk of platforming as we know and love from previous Banjo K/T.
I'd prefer Banjo Threeie over Nuts & Bolts probably but I'm still super excited, only one week away...

I m not suggesting it's a bad game, I m stating that it is not what a die-hard banjo (And 3D platformer fan) such as myself expected it to be. I admire the fact that they re charging 40 bucks for it instead of the usual fee and I think that's the only redeeming feature to make me buy this game. So far I love the graphics and I hit nostalgia notes on some of the locales etc, but as far as gamelplay goes I miss the "bear and bird" abilities=/

While I don't have a 360, i'm still currious to give this ago when I can find a free 360 sitting around at work.

I'm also more excited about Banjo Kazooie HD. I'm so glad they did that (even if it's not pretty in HD, no N64 game is with out texture improvements).

I had one but sold it 6 months back since it sat in the closet for over a year with out being touched. I'm getting bored of fps and 98% of my gaming is done on handhelds.

I'll probably fetch one again when the system is $100, by then i'll find a few games worth playing.

I wish I played handhelds more sometimes. I've missed a ton of good handheld stuff.

(BTW only 3 of my 48 360 games are FPS :110:, but I do know what you mean)

I m confident in saying that this is a spin-off, not the third installment. Nowhere is it mentioned Banjo Threeie as promissed!:p

if you ever finished first banjo, grunty said she will be coming back in banjo tooie, when you finished banjo tooie, defeated grunty once again, she told you that she will be coming back in banjo threeie, so yes I think it's safe to say Banjo Threeie is still going to be released at some point in future
in the meantime, let's enjoy first BK(soon Tooie, early in 2009) and of course Nuts & Bolts :icon_bigg
ps.I'm impressed with original Banjo looks in HD, crisp, sharp and vibrant as ever + some things have been reworked, so I've noticed(like when you collect mumbo tokens or jinjos, on N64 those 2d sprites were pixelated, somewhat blurry - here on 360 they are looking totally revamped in HD).
