Ground to halt line, works great on the genesis although I haven't tried swapping carts. Might be interesting to swap carts of the same lineage and engine such as Streets of Rage.

heh. did that too at a friends house.. we were going to build a robot to clean his room (as you might guess I wasn't so old). I remember it coming some spark and suddenly my face was all coverd in some gray/silver colored dust and nothing worked in the house b\c a fuse had blown.

Indeed, as you grow older you get more sensitive to electrical shock, partly due to bad experience.

I was able to calmy push the wire in and pull it out with my bare hands and only feel pain in my hand for a while. Talk about brave! I d shit my pants now if i was electrocuted.

Prolly the wire was well isolated....A friend of mine once pushed a nail inside (yes suicide thoughts), and was thrown like 6 meters back from the shock. No joke. He survived btw.

Anyway. Why should'nt the s'n's use the memcart for activating characters in different games?

There has been no indication that either BK, BT , DK, or Conker use memory card functions, they only support rumble.

They could easily support memory cards as far as I m concerned, but why they chose not to is something that only RARE knows.

maybe they wanted the whole process to have a transient , one-off dealing sort of thing, whereas a memory card represents the idea of permanent and saved data.

Something just tells me that the involved data for the feature would've been too big for memory card.

That it might've been, maybe not exactly, but something of a somewhat similiar concept, of bringing data somehow between the games.

Like, somehow being able to bring gameplay features from Banjo Tooie over to Banjo Kazooie. Or more or less load all the data for one game through the other game's engine/settings.

Allowing you do such a thing as going through a swap portal in BT, swapping cart to BK, entering BK's maps, get the stuff you can't get under normal circumstances in BK, then swap back to BT through an option/location, to then use the BK acquired item in BT.

Memory could be an issue here, but then again, the memory expansion pak could possibly provide the extra "juice" needed for this to be possible. As besides DK64, none of the "possibly involved" titles requires the mem expansion pak.

i was at awe when they pulled off DK and Conker without the Expansion Pak. Is DK technically superior? (Technical evidence please)

.. well i just wondering how BT and Conker got away with those amazing graphics without the expansion pack. And i am aware that they used the new microcode ;)

I m just asking if technically DK64 was superior. And if yes, in what aspects
    ?(compared to conker and BT)

    "Stick with you guys"???
Neither if all consoles would run out...but perhaps for that new BK game..mmmmm...

    So S'n'S was abandoned.

Thanks Nintendo for having been so cool to let such a great developer slip off your hands!
