Anyone played it yet? It's a free online Battlefield meets Team Fortress 2 game, by EA of course, which has proven to be fun, at least for the 2 hours or so that I've played up to now. It downloads pretty fast and installs at the same time, taking up only 1GB of disk space, and it doesn't ask for high end PC requirements, my Gateway laptop runs it smoothly with a Centrino Duo @ 1.66 Ghz and an Intel 128MB video chipset and 1GB of RAM. As for the game itself, you create a character, Royal (Allies) or National (Axis) Army and choose a class (Commando, Soldier, etc), you join matches and level up gaining XP in many different ways in order to improve your character's skills, buy or rent new weapons, outfits, widgets, etc. and that's the gist of it. It comes in handy to kill some time while studying :110: Anyway I guess the best thing is that you can actually sit steady on the plane's wings, thing I did kind of manually on BF 1942  If anyone wants to join a match there my tag is Tchoin Oh, and the song is damn catchy, can't stop whistling...
Havent really played since March to be honest. I know it's now officially out, but I cant be bother to level my dude again
I played the earliest betas for about 6 months. It's been awhile since I've touched it, so I'm not exactly up to date on the current build. Creating and customizing your own wacky characters is probably one of the best features it has. I actually had more fun hunting for bugs most the time. Then again it was beta, with hardly more than handful of people playing at once, so maybe the final version will be a little better.
