Glad you disabled comments on the BF3 video, that shit was getting hostile. I honestly can't see why people are complaining about the new Battlefront. It's almost like they haven't played it at all, because I put about 40 hours into the beta and had nothing but fun.

 

YouTube comments are dumb - it's like the golden fact of the internet.

 

Yeah, but I often find that the highest rated ones are funny. The Battlfront gameplay video had none of that, it was just a bunch of hate on EA haha.

 

Well they're not wrong.

Watching the BF3 video, you can clearly see that the game had more content and more diversity compared to the new Battlefront.
I have a feeling that most 8th gen games are more beautiful and complex, but heavily lacking in features.
The 7th gen was the perfect balance between features and graphics.

 

While I agree that the 7th generation did have the perfect balance, I can't say that I wouldn't prefer the upcoming Battlefront to that version. A lack of content isn't a problem to me as long as I'm having fun, as that's what video games are to me. Perhaps that's why I liked/still like Destiny so much, even though it got absolutely shit-on upon release because of its lack of content. I had a blast with it.

 

Man, that BF3 looks incredible for something so early in development for it's time.

I'm more impressed with that than the new dumbed down, EA game.

BF2 launched around the same time as RoS with multiple SP options and a full campaign and the content from the new movie out of the game. Unlike this new crap, which Disney has the audacity to simply take out any potential story and sell it for 30$ as a "Tie-In novel".

There's no way you can get me to spend 60$ for just the game and then another 50$ for what is likely to be the content based on TFA. PLUS another 30$ if I want any kind of SW:Battlefront "story".
