Well the presentation didn't show much.

Many people are angry about this, but I have NO idea why. It's like all Tecmo releases are now on Nintendo systems.

I'd rather Bayonetta 2 come out, then not come out at all.
    So what's everyone's thoughts?

This has ruined my day frankly.

Love Bayo, hate Nintendo. Gone are the days I'd buy a console for one title.

I hope the game fucking blows..and tbh without all the Sega homages (which I assume won't be in there) it likely will.

WiiBS more like, fucking crock of shite!!!!

You summed it up. Bayonetta 2 will be a souless sequel that like other M Rated games on Nintendo platforms, will sell like complete Shit.

The game may as well not exist and I'm going on with life, as if it isn't. I vowed never to get another Nintendo platform again, and By God... I am never getting another Nintendo Platform again.

I agree, with HeXiGON, I'd rather have more Bayonetta than not.

While I will miss the Sega references, it'll probably have Nintendo ones this time around, which could be refreshing. I love Platinum Games, so I'm really looking forward to this and The Wonderful 101.

That's my only real sticking point here. I'm a huge fan of Platinum Games.

But on reflection, I genuinely rate Bayonetta as near as perfect as gaming can get. Titles like that simply don't need sequels. Too much of a good thing very quickly stops being just that. (George Lucas take note ya bastard!)

I agree with the SEGA's touch won't be in it, but at least we have some what a sequel.
Whether or not it's going to be good, or bad. Gamers have the sequel they asked. Regardless if it's not on the systems it came out on originally.

However, we can't REALLY say much about it being horrible or good just yet. So far the line up for me on the WiiU is appealing, of course we all have our own opinions on the matter.

Just look at the Dead or Alive franchise it's jumping all over the place and Tecmo now moved Fatal Frame to the Wii (which wasn't a good idea in my opinion).

Well, Nintendo's publishing this one, so I doubt we'll see it elsewhere.

Not sure why the WiiU isn't a "good" console. It's not even out yet. I also agree that Bayonetta needed no sequel, but I'm giving Platinum the benefit of the doubt.

Edit: I forgot about Ninja Gaiden II. That was published by Microsoft and had a PS3 release later. So who knows.

Edit 2: Sega is still listed on the trailer. So... uh... I have no idea what's going on anymore. We could still get Sega references!

Pretty shocked when I saw that it was Wii U exclusive. I dont see why it would lose the SEGA touch when the first was on the a Microsoft and Sony console.

Platinum has yet to disappoint, so I have no doubt it will be awesome, and ill eventually break down and get a one for Bayonetta and Zombie U.

"Waaaahh, waaah, it's on a Nintendo system! Waaaah, Platinum Games sold out! Waaahh!"

That's all I'm hearing everywhere on the internet. Seriously, shut up and be thankful they didn't release it on a cell phone or on the Wii with gimmicky motion controls.

I doubt most people are complaining because they "sold out", because that's dumb and only people who type M$ unironically say things like that. Personally, it annoys me because I have no intention to buy a console whose announced library consists of shovelware, ports and dead horse Nintendo games like New Super Mario Bros just to play one interesting game.

We sure are seeing eye to eye on alot of things lately.

Obviously nintendo fans are not Bayonetta's Main Audience. So that's why everyone is so pissed off. Plus the Wii U like the DS and Wii before it just one stupid Gimmick only 12 games will use.

THAT is why we're so pissed off.

Some people are complaining they sold out. It's pathetic, kind of like when DMC4 and FFXIII was announced on the 360.

Nintendo is trying to fix their shovelware image by acquiring good exclusives, I can't fault them for that.

But unlike the Wii, this gimmick is totally optional. The tablet doesn't have to be used and even if it is, who says it has to be used as anything more than a second screen similar to the Dreamcast VMU.

No hardcore gamer wants to use an over sized tablet.

Haven't looked at any other gaming sites, but I (apparently wrongly) thought that kind of attitude had calmed down. Although the DMC4 and FFXIII cases were even more pathetic since the games were just being released on multiple consoles, and you have to be a real console warrior moron to care about whether or not a game is exclusive or not.

Speak for yourself, my issue with the Wii U is not with the control method at all, I'm always interested in seeing new control methods assuming they work. I was even excited for motion controls on the Wii until they were predictably poorly used in most games. The currently announced Wii U library just doesn't interest me at all.

Bayonetta being an exclusive title will definetely ramp up interest. Im excited for the new controller. It reminds me of the DC VMU

Nobody directly came out and said word for word "they sold out" (none that I remember seeing), I was just generalizing. It's the attitude of a lot of people that gives the impression. They act as if Platinum Games originally were going to release it on the 360/PS3, but Nintendo waived a ton money in their face and decided to "sell out" to the kiddie console, and think of it as an act of betrayal. But yeah, it's not as bad as when people complained about DMC4 and FFXIII getting ported to 360.

Like I said, I'm glad Nintendo is putting effort in making a system that's not overloaded with casual crap. They can't fix their image if they don't do something about it and this is a good way to start.

Being TBA means its at least one year and a half from launch, by which time it will compete with games on durango and PS4, and it will show (already does with PCs)

The exclusivity means it will join ED and Madworld to the club of great M games that totally failed because of nintendo's main users

Lastly theres a whole bunch of fanbois all over the internet drooling about this when they didnt play the first one, because it wasnt for the wii

If DKF2 is a wiiU exclusive will they all cheer for it too? that would be a funny sight...
