Hmm, not a fan of Mr Bean. You see I saw Blackadder first, so I always think of Atkinson as masterful and quick instead of a blundering immature kid in Bean. It is weird though, quite a few people I know say Mr Bean is one of their fav series, especially in Japan some of my mates really liked him. I played them some Blackadder and they just didn't get it. Ho hum. And Ryan, I am a massive fan of the whole team as well. I was even lucky enough to meet Mr Atkinson in Oxford on one occasion... I'm certainly proud to go to the same uni as the great man.
I envy you.... Blackadder is still supeior to Bean, but its nice to see Rowan revisting one of his past characters..though maybe a new Blackadder is out of the question after Goodbyee Ryan
I only saw one Mr. Bean Skit where he had trouble going to sleep, so he painted a picture of sheep and when he was done, started counting them, and fell asleep within seconds. Pretty funny, I guess.

Atkinsons education interests me quite a lot: BSc from newcastle in electrical engineering, followed by MSc from oxford Then edinburgh fringe followed by not the nine o'clock news. Interesting career route. Funnily, when I went to an open day at newcastle uni (for the electircal engineering dept.) they mentioned that Atkinson had been there quite often :thumbsup: . Famous Alumni and all! Back on topic... Great news. But I think the chances of a new blackadder are quite low..
Bean was good, but 'adder was the best,..he also did "the thin blue line" a copper show..which was'nt bad either, and the millenium dome's Blackadder wasnt so hot either,'adder 3 and 4 were some of the best in my opinion Ryan

It was entitled Blackadder Back And Forth, in short Baldrick builds a time machine, and Edmund and him travel back through time, from the age of the dino's to robin hood, and shakespeare, along the way, they do some cxrazy stuff that alters history, and forces them to travel back through time once more. It was'nt great by any standards, and actually reminded me more of the bean movie than anything There was also Blackadder the cavalier years Blackadder Xmas carol Ryan
