Hell, since you got it so cheaply, just pick up a replacement monitor when you go to get the BH2 game. To me, the problem sounds like either the tube is fried, or it needs a cap kit. Either way, don't screw around with it if you don't know what you are doing.

Also, just so that you know, that game doesn't actually use optical lightguns. Instead, they are positional guns (i.e. a gun shaped joystick of sorts), so if you hooked up the board/controls to a different monitor to test, you could still use them easily.

    Ok more numbers:

This one was on the back of the tube, It has the ZENITH logo and its model is : OEM-145223

I think thats the best bet but heres other numbers around there:

    9A2911-001
    9009T

    122075

    69X1712-100
    741 G35NC

    2A0684-1

  3. Alright, now we're getting somewhere. The number thats important to us here is " 69X1712-100" which is a Wells Gardner chassis, 7000 series monitor. I'm not sure exactly which model, if you could measure the diagonal size of the monitor, I could confirm what model I'm leaning towards. Either way though, I've got a couple revisions of manuals for the 7000 series monitors which I will upload to my server so you can download them.

25 Inch, I found the manual for the Beast Busters game but it doesnt give a model number for the tube:

We found that a fuse was blown, so we replaced it and it got blown again. We removed the tube and assembly as well.

  5. Wow, good find, I downloaded that and added it to my collection. I am not 100% certain, but I'm pretty sure your monitor is a Wells Gardner 7191, I have the manuals and schematics for it if you would like them. My server space is unfortunately too full right now for me to upload the zip file I made up for you of manuals. Drop me a message on AIM and I will either share or file send it to you.

Blowing fuses is generally not a good sign though, sounds like you've got some fried components on the board which are shorting and causing the fuses to blow. Tubes themselves are fairly hard to kill as far as electronics go, but a lot of the other stuff will blow pretty easily. Hit me up though and I'll send you all the files I've got. If they don't help you out, I reccomend looking up some arcade shops around you in the Yellow Pages under "Vending" and "Amusements".
