Bernie Stolar's Zoom Project are releasing a MEGARACE reboot.

These re-releases run under Dosbox or were "ported" to current OS?

 

Got the email and I'm really excited and looking forward to it!
Hopefully they'll bring stuff that others (GOG, DotEmu, etc) haven't

I think MegaRace 1 and 2 run on some modified version of DOSBOX because there is also a "Jordan Freeman Group" logo which appears to be the game development subsidiary of ZOOM Platform, http://zoom-platform.com/#about

MegaRace 3 looks like its some sort of Windows XP/98 compatibility type deal built into the exe or at least that is what ZOOM support showed me when they helped me get MR3 on my TV. The reason being, I have the PS2 version of MegaRace 3: Nanotech Disaster (PAL-UK) and I wanted to see what would look better on my TV, that, or the PC version via RGB. They are pretty much the same to me.

Hi everyone!

So I found a tool called HNM1Dumper, that takes all the frames and audio from MegaRace's video files and dumps them. I converted the videos and uploaded them to YouTube, so for the first time, here's all of the videos from MegaRace in one compilation. Enjoy!



These are taken directly from the games video files, so they're not emulated at all. DOSBox tends to add stutter and screen tear as seen here but we finally got the clean footage.

I also ripped the videos from MR2 and MR3 which you can find on my Youtube Channel. Hope you guys enjoy!

 

The Zoom platform has just been updated!! It's now looking much better than before with loads of new titles and many big name developers and labels to choose from. I wouldn't be surprised if they had some fantastic deals and games in the near future that other places don't have.

How do I know all of this? They've been sending out mails to all who have bought from them in the past.

It's just as awesome as I remember. ZOOM has the GOLD version exclusively, it came out a few days ago and it has full multi-player support with all 7 official Rebellion map packs!!!!

They have their multi-player set up even better than GOG Galaxy, just like them, you can play against Steam players but now you also have access to all the map packs!!!! They even let you add your own custom maps or modded maps from back in the day!!!! Check it out!!!!

 

Definitely gonna grab AvP Gold. It's so freaking awesome they support multiplayer!
