ask a gay guy from shibyua which game has better music. my point: taste in music is all a matter of opinion.
I just read about it after searching Rhythm Tengoku on Google... Gosh. How I want to be in Japan for that... and a ton more. Have you ever personally played it Yakumo? And I found the sequel... Its...... INCREDIBLE! God. What is better than these games?
The Japanese sequel is 'Rhythm Tengoku Gold' Heres the JP version.. http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-9g-49-en-15-rhythm+tengoku-70-2so1.html Article on the game (and its upcoming English release) http://blog.wired.com/games/2008/08/why-rhythm-heav.html If you want it, import it- Im sure the language barrier doesnt matter too much, and Playasia is a very trustworthy site.
Here's a pic I took last year I guess around the time it came out. Plays exactly like the GBA version. Complete with D-Pad and AB buttons.
No. It’S right next to Pop’n Music so I never seem to get to it since the Pop’n Music machine eats all of my 100yen coins. I'll have to make a point of playing it next time I'm at the arcade. Yakumo
Taiko No Tatsujin Rez Vib Ribbon Parappa Daigasso! Band Brothers The arcade verison of Rhythm Tengoku is an oversized GBA d-pad and buttons, the rest is the same, as I can remember.
I keep looking at Daigasso! Band Brothers but I don't know if its worth the purchase. I loved Rhythm Tengoku and the fact it was all in Japanese didnt effect my gameplay. Do you think I would enjoy it, then? Is it similar?
Here is a review, hope it'll helps you : http://www.siliconera.com/ds/bandbrothers/0401230.htm I like the game a lot, and the new one looks even better (review: http://www.edge-online.com/magazine/review-daigasso-band-brothers-dx). It isn't like Rhythm Tengoku, this one is more about playing instruments and making your own music.
i like Elite Beat Agents, but i don't think its the best. i just didn't play so much other music games. oh, and i liked music 2000 on the psx ^^ and of course my samba de amigo set.
the problem with Band brothers is that the music is all MIDI if you don't mind go for it. Me however...I did.
