Best Sake ever!

I mean I have no idea what it tastes like but I love the design of it that I've asked my girlfriend to buy it for me for christmas. Even Yakumo would love it.

Ah loves mah alcohol, but I never got the appeal of hot sake. I've had it prepared for me a few times over the years, and each time I've come away thinking that I might as well have just huffed petrol fumes. Foul shit IMO.

Fine cold, mind.

 

I like cold sake as well....but sochu? Ick...I like the sweetness sometimes but it can be a bit much as well.

 

KYOKO SANNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!! Just a shame I think Sake is foul shit. Actullay I'm a bit off my head at the moment after a few cans of 7% beer while watching thi sweeks Top Gear.

I had 3 cups of hot sake last Saturday; delicious stuff. Probably the 4th would have been when it starts to taste disgusting, though...

Amazake is out of this world great too. It's like an alcoholic rice soup, for those who have never tried it.

there is nice polish strong beer with the name of warka strong, it sports 7% and is quite tasty, you should try it if you ever get the chance.

 

That reminds me of some weird lemon cocktail thing from Kirin I had the other night. Some friends and I made a trip to the 7/11 and were looking for cheap alcohol at 3AM, I had always noticed this stuff but never bothered with it. It was some lemon drink that advertised 8% STRONG for only 200yen per can...that should have told me right there it'd be SHIT.

It didn't taste bad at all, sort of like lemonaide. But after 3 cans (I had been drinking earlier throughout the night) I was pretty far gone and somehow managed to find my way back to my apartment. No hangover, but you still feel like shit the next day. Must be all the sugar in it.

 

nono, with "no beer" i meant it's no beer anymore, because japan has "real beer" and "not real beer" which is called "happoushu" which means "foamed alcohol" or how it wiki calls it "sparkling spirits". it's a low malt beer, which is not considered as beer anymore to bypass the particual beer-tax japan has. so happoushu is about 40% cheaper than beer.

by the way, i'm a big lover of strong beers, primarly belgian beer like rocheforts 10 (11.3%) and many other trappistes beers

I drink that stuff. It's one of the "STRONG" Chu-Hi range. I actually like it. 3 tall cans ofthat stuff will have most people falling about.

Yeah, like I said it's cheap and gets the job done. I had no headache the next morning (odd considering I also had tequila that night) but the sweetness of it can be a bit much sometimes.

 

i just drink grape or grapefruits chu-hi. the rest i don't like^^
