oh, a french site ! if some one want a translation , im here. hey , by the way , someone speak french here? or, someone is from quebec?
sorry the guest was me , ey , do you know , by the way (yes its semi off-topic) that onimusha was supose to be on n64?? i read it on the french site , strange.... i want to view a demo! damn , why theses games aren't dumped ? its why i love emulation , and only for this reason .
Me too... too bad that for everyone who shares this opinion there's 3562365 "1337 h4xx0r" folks who download roms and never buy the original games/hardware :axe:
angel?? What is this about angel porting BH0 to Nintendo 64??That's bullshit. The game was being programmed at Capcom Japan an was shown at Tokyo game show in playable form. Everything else you said was correct about who keeps the games and so on but in no way was Angel involved with BH0 to my knowledge.
Ah, that would be my bad then, as I was the one who though that Angel had something to do with RE0 and then forwarded the info on to madhatter.... :Hangman: Oh, and cahaz, I got the zip with the scans a few days ago, but it was corrupted - maybe just send the images alone? Sorry for all the trouble, today just isn't my day..
Onimusha was being developed for the PS1 at first them switched to the PS2. It was never going to be developed for the N64.
here's FINALY my scans: and only for the pleasure, eternal darkness : its why i always keep my old magazine , its cool to see what didn't make the final cut ! , or the old rumors! ps: no prolbem greatsaintlouis , everyone have a badlucky day ! :smt040 :toimonster:
I bought the Indiana Jones game. I think its rare. Well honestly, you can most likely find a copy at EB or Gamestop now. I got mine, with box and instructions for $15.
Indy was originally rental-only, but when the N64 started getting outdated, most rental places sold their copies, which is why you can find them (and sometimes boxed if you're lucky). It isn't super super rare, but given the way the game was released, it is far less common than most normal retail releases.
*******UPDATE******* ***this info comes from a 2000 graduate of Digipen and was an NOA tester for the summer of 1999 as an intern. I met up with him at an IGDA meeting tonight. That night I just asked him if he got to play games they never released for the N64. He told me something Assembler doesn't know, if I remember correctly and Assembler can't answer due to NDA :smt042 *. I got off of work early because they didn't need me. When I got home, got on the PC, I checked my email. I had an email that said there was an "emergency" IGDA meeting at a local restaurant. It was just a get together to see how people fared thru the two hurricanes we had. Well I went to it and I met some interesting people. The most interesting is from this guy working for a local game company. Here's what I found out. Grant it, he was a bit typsy so theres a chance that he was talking about another game but he sounded very consistent and not as drunk as he got later that night. There is a partial translation of RE0 for N64 but only about 25% of the 50% completed game. He only got to play it once and only for 10 or so minutes until his supervisor told him he can't play it since he's an intern and interns can't play projects under "beta1.0" stage, from what he told me. Thats it. He supposedly played the game for about 10minutes until he got caught. (remember he was bit typsy but alcohol is a great drug to get people to say the truth, thats how my parents got divorced :smt042 ). He had a hard time remembering if he played as a woman with a berret but he did play RE2 and said that the intro of it didn't start out as RE2 did. He did get to read all of the text in english, he didn't see ANY japanese.
But remember that when I talked to him, he was a bit typsy yet was very detailed but had a hint of alcohol in his breath so again there could be a chance that is drunken BS. But I'm hoping its not. If i ever meeet up with him at another igda meeting and if he's sober, then I'll pop the question agian .
Ohhhh!! Starfox looks awesome in N64 :smt022 RE 0 too :smt022 I want the beta/alpha version from developers rayer:
