Recently, a new member of the Bioflames forum discovered the BH 1.5 backgrounds for the warehouse, factory, and lab areas of the game. This is an amazing find for any fan of Biohazard 1.5, as it is a complete layout and showcase of the entire labs, factory, and warehouse areas of 1.5. Sadly, the 1.5 RPD and sewers were not available as these backgrounds were found on the JP BH2 Trial and US RE2 demo disks and were likely removed and replaced with the final RPD for the demo purpose. Good thing for us they left the latter half of the game's backgrounds intact on the disk. ^^ Anyway, these are just a few of what we found. In total, we have over 400 background images. Other images can be found in various recent topics on the Bioflames forum. Hopefully, a webpage or download link with all of the images will be available in the near future. Meanwhile, please enjoy the images below. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

For some odd reason, those look much better then the actual backrounds used in Biohazard 2/RE 2.

for some odd reasons, those screens, especially the first ones, looks to be fake. But anyway, if they're really on bh2 demos, then i can't argue.

maybe someone here i won't mention could confirm their autenticity?

I dont see why you think they could... if your thinking of the same person.... plus these guys are much more able to tell you the truth about this.

Go read their forum! Sorry i dont mean to offend you but i do think some members could actually get off to some of these pictures :)

They know what they are taking about cahaz.

They are quite authentic. They are on both the JP and US demo disk. In the COMMON > BSS folder. From about the 300s - 700s.

Very nice, there's alot more "garbage" left behind. Try to find reviewers copies of RE2 if possible.

True it's generic RE, but I seem to like this generic RE1.5 style over the one we actually received in 2.

Well, originally someone posted it on the PSXDEV yahoo-group but was reluctant to mention what game... but after some searching around somebody found out it was one of the Beatmanias. And that's indeed quite a nasty fault, but it's not the only game with weird stuff on it - WipeOut still has the CD burning log from '95 on it :smt082

I remember an episode of South Park being left on some golf game (PC/PSX I can't remember). They were supposedly using it to test the video compression. :)

Those are some nice finds Alzaire. I love it when companies forget to "clean up" leftovers.

This is definitely a brilliant discovery, but sadly nothing that couldn't have been found sooner had someone thought of it before! However, that's not to say it's not great news, as now fans of Biohazard 2 Prototype (myself included) have at least something to look at until playable code is leaked. Being an optimist, I'm not going to conclude that this won't happen - the spotlight is now on Capcom or at least a former employee to save us from disappointment...

Is it just me, or do the "lab/train" areas look like something out of Doom 3?

    Damn! Very cool pics

I still don't get why Capcom does not release 1.5. Every fan of the series wants to play it, no matter how bad it is.

By the way, the lab and train scenery are great!

    Interesting pics indeed.

I love searching games for hidden stuff. I found the Weird Al starwars cover of Barry Manalow's Coca Cabana on one of the Dreamcast's Star Wars games :D
