    Because (as was mentioned in a thread about the Xbox 360) wanting is ALWAYS much better than having.

    A shit game is a shit game no matter who produced it. The only draw here is that it is unreleased. Were it leaked most would probably see it and go "eh, that's crap, dunno why everyone wanted it so badly." Another example would be Madden '96. Yeah it was cancelled, but it was cancelled for a reason.

    hehe Yakumo - Weirld Al is a top bloke and all and I know the Star Wars Cantina song you mean - but Weird AL stated on his site he never did the track, a talented faker did it in his style and name, I guess so George Lucas' lawyers don't pay him a visit hehehe

    No, I don't think so. BH1,5 was cancelled because it was to similar to BH1.

    Yeah, they never stated anywhere that it was a bad game. In fact, Mikami stated in an interview that it was a good game, just felt it wasn't the RE2 he wanted. It's funny how they contradict themselves though in certain interviews.

    (loose quotes)

    "...The game played and felt too similar to Biohazard 1..."
    vs.
    "...after a while, we looked at it and felt 'this isn't a Biohazard game'..."

    I need to compile all the text and video interviews someday. They make a few other contradictions like that in several of them.

    With everything we've been digging up and discussing recently, we believe the game was 85-90+% complete. Hard to say for sure though, until we get a copy of the final beta. I just hope we don't have to wait much longer. 8 years is long enough... ; ;

    No, sorry, the PSXDEV mailing list is like BIIIG and the only way to access it is using a slow and ad-ridden yahoo-groups interface :-(
    I'd love to have all the e-mails in a, say, Eudora MBX file for easy reference but havent found a way to do that, yet :(

    BH 1.5 was a modded 1 engine that played like crap, so they junked it and made a whole new one.
