i love how the dreamcast scene is still active! it always had a very productive homebrew scene.

Info has been deleted in the thread you linked to. From what I can gather this is just for getting Gran Turismo 2 running on the Dreamcast?

Three versions of Bleemcast were made. Unless I'm mistaken they haven't been cracked and able to be CDR-copied until now.

I thought there was a Bleem that's been available for years now that was hacked to play more games than just what they were sold specifically for. What's new here exactly?

I think the fact that the original Bleem CDs were not ripped. Only the beta, which was buggy.

    Oh, is that it.

Interesting to see then if there's any improvements on some games :)

Yes they have ripped it, the released gt2 one.
I guess he will rip the other as soon as he gets them.
Hopefully after all these years someone can hack it to run any game.

Agreed, that would be awesome. I have messed with the beta version a few times and the number of bugs are insane haha not to mention no saving.. So this is the retail "full" bleem for GT but you would still need GT or a backup? Correct me if i'm wrong :020:

Makes you think...perhaps Sony should have hired the Bleem guys to do security on the PS2 rather than attempting to sue them to hell.

Wiat a minute. So what were the Dreamcast releases of G-darius, Strider 2, Winning Eleven and others using? I have a few PlayStation images hacked to boot and run on Dreamcast with improved graphics. Are those releases using the beta version of Bleemcast?

Yep, they were all running the beta version. Though I could have sworn there was progress in dumping the retail disks a year or two ago.

Yeah I somewhat remember that too.. Just hoping this can lead to running most games and not using the beta anymore. The no saving on games was killing me not to mention I couldn't get my favorite game to run Silhouette Mirage! :banghead: Maybe i'll have to go pick up a PS1 since my PS2 refuses to read cd's its evil!
