More than that. If it's in good condition, it could easily go for $300 USD.

wouldn't the price also depend on the state of the laser as well since the blues are prone to failure?

I wouldn't say they're more prone to failure than any other PS1. It can always be repaired anyway, fairly inexpensively too.

They used to be a lot cheaper than a Net Yaroze, but the Net Yaroze has dropped in price because a bunch of them appeared on eBay. A year ago I was selling Yaroze's for $400 - $500 USD each, even ones with broken disc drives/lasers, but now you'd be lucky to sell a completely working one for $350.

What model DTL was your blue debug? Was it a DTL-H1102?

Black = Net Yaroze (there's 3 models: DTL-H3000 which is Japanese, DTL-H3001 which is American, and DTL-H3002 which is PAL. They all work exactly the same though, but the Japanese one has Japanese text in the main menu).

Blue = debug (there's too many models to list)

Green = debug (also too many models to list, but an important one is DTL-H1200. You might see people online saying this one is region free like a Net Yaroze, but they're wrong. I've owned no less than 5 of them over the past 3 years or so and they all didn't play PAL games, they only worked with NTSC/J Japanese games. However they might work with NTSC American games too, I wasn't able to test that).

Well if you're buying and it's in good condition, maybe try offering $250 USD + postage costs.

I don't remember the exact model but it wasn't reading PAL games, this is why I sold it. Thanks for the details DeChief ;)

Blue units are first model/revision PS1 units which are prone to heating and laser issues. At work I would frequently have to flip the damn thing over after a while when working with it. We generally found it more reliable to use a later gen ps1 and goldfinger over it. Green units were made from a later revision of the ps1 board and were much more stable.

Actually checking wiki. I forgot about the other issues blue units had =P (see last paragraph of Variants)

You just put in a BAM laser unit and all issues go away.

It wouldn't change price of unit, you could buy a whole psone and steal the laser and its going to cost you like £15 total
