For the spanish jurassic park, you should check spanish internet boards (or find someone here that can check for you).
For instance, there's a spanish version of the megadrive title the smurfs called "smurfana", saw a single copy of it in three years on ebay. Checked spanish boards and found five in a week lol
I had a couple of huge spanish videogaming related forums in my internet bookmarks, but my home computer just died T_T Hope the hard drives didn't burn

PS: you can see pic so of my collection on this board:

Amazing collection!!! I love the picture with the sealed games aligned.

I am new here too. Still havn't had time to write anything on the Intro thread.

I also collect sealed Jap Mega CD stuff, just went to Osaka over Christmas and bought some sealed Mega CD games.

I didn't know that Pal Mega CD games were sealed let alone having spine cards.

    1. Were all games released with a spine card?

    2. Were all games released sealed?

98% of the standard 'double CD jewel case' games are proven to have a spine card, but there are the few titles that appear sealed consistetly _without_ spine card - Mickey Mania & NBA Jam for example. Now does this mean that a spine card never existed for that title, or just a resealed batch that's got into the wild? I guess we'll never know for sure.

The larger 'american style' jewel boxed games (Sewer Shark, Hook etc) did not have spine cards.

I suspect that all games were supplied as sealed stock, but as was often the case back in the day, many shops would break open the seal to store the CD/Instructions behind the counter whilst displaying the case on the shop floor.

Hope this helps - glad you like the collection! Gotta keep fighting that addiction for the Japanese ones now.. ;-)

Finally got hold of the Spanish language variation of Jurassic Park, and added a picture accordingly. Just Star Strike, and 4 demo/promo CD's to find now.. lol.

I've also got a few more funky bits and pieces to add, but want to do them justice with decent piccies rather than snapshots, so I'll add them later when I get a chance.

    Thanks for looking..

    Thanks for your answers.

Do you collect other sealed games? Too bad I did not meet you earlier because I just went to Japan and picked up some rare MD sealed games for cheap. Alot have only two copies left and I picked up one. If I go again next time, I'll let you know.

What are those good deal games release with bugs on the cover? Never seen them before.

I am a huge collector of sealed games, I almost collect for every US and Jap system.

I also collect some pal format sealed games. After seeing your pictures, you give me the itch to start buying PAl MCD games..haha. I do not want to "fight" with you over the games so do you mind telling me some sources other than Ebay UK to buy sealed Mega CD games that you already own?

FYI, Megadrive japanese games were NEVER sealed,so sealed games are just used ones.

    Hey BlueMagician!

Can you elaborate some more on the different multi-region adapters? They are all for the PAL MegaCD?

    Your collection is simply beautiful....

Nice collection, but I don't see Star Wars Chess here. I debated over buying it for years from my local Gamestation while I lived in the UK. Is it very rare?

Hi Taucias - it's there - bottom right of the second picture 'The Software Toolworks Star Wars Chess'. A sealed one. Sadly, it's one of about 3 titles that I've never had in _unsealed_ condition, so I've never actually played it - lol.

Is it rare? There's a shop in Germany that evidently has an old stock of them on tap, but I've not seen it elsewhere that often, so once that stock runs out I guess it'll be much harder to come by. We're by no means talking _proper_ rare here though, ie: FFS, ABR, Syndicate etc etc.

    Cheers,
    Simon.
