I didn't know that. I do know that it was sort of a "stealth" release, just sort of popping up on store shelves unexpectedly much like Alone in the Dark 4 and Midways Arcade 2. I bought it, but I really never did warm up to it. Online play mode was remarkably boring too.
The should launch a spinoff series of this called ChibiBomber where this guy is all hyper deformed and drops bombs from an above perspective in a more cartoonish world /Sarcasm. It looks tollerable as a game but not a bomberman game.
hudson is killing me with there Neo Bomberman. He is just a normal guy in a robotic space suit. All he needs is just that bomberking touch aling with the Bomberman N64 cuteness and storyline. Bomberman is pretty much dead from my sights. Atomic Bomberman was the Westerners chance to shine at bomberman but was less then I was expecting. Then Bomberman Online and all these other Bombmerman games is just a big waste of time considering every one these recent bombmerman spells Super bomberman. I might be a fan but again no and the same goes for Goemon and his futuristic self.
Well to be honest I have seen it a little and it's not that bad but the whole concept of a planet of Bombers and people wlaking around in suits has been tampered with. The game is a failure above all reasons yet again since X-Box is the 4-Bit gamers choice then it might have a chance to dazzle players of Bomberman 101 on the PC. I know you all seen the female version of the Bombers and that just spells failure to comply with sex identification. If you havent then you will see what I mean by sexus ideals No way on any planet besides the planet of the Steve Urkels this game is going to be a number one seller. However it does feel homish for some sorta reason
Hell this could be done in GC with the same graphics, let alone Xbox... Honestly I think the CG at the end would make for a better, more innovative concept for the game. That's it a bomberman in a confined, MGS-like scenario
Finally somebody reads my mind. LEts all bug Hudson and demand that they will release a version for the Cube that can Network.
Who the hell plays Bomberman for the character designs? If it plays like classic Bomberman and looks damn good, I have no complaints. Cartoony or not, Bomberman is Bomberman, and as long as they keep the formula pure (yes, despite the additional and optional first person bomber idea) then I'm happy. Bomberman greatness on Xbox Live? I'm there.
There you go again... you need to realise that developers don't care whether you bug them or not. Not to mention that network games on the Cube don't exist outside of Mario Kart and Kirby. Not a networked platform at all. Aesthetics are important. I preferred the older designs.
Man I just can't get around the fact that if Iplay this game I have to look at toned bomber ass all day... At least make em women, or give an option...
Look there is alot of games besides the Lan link games that can Netplay between people. The cube also has various games lonine in Japan. Look all you need is the have the option and syncronize. It would be like Kalleria where people would dail into a server where other people find each other to join up with other peoples games or would belike back in the days where your Cube tells you it's address and vice versa and two people connect online. This has been done countless of times with various setups. IF you can program a bit you can certainly link any game on a Cube to another. Including online games like PSO and MapleStory where a whole slew of people log on to one server and play together. Well I saw the other pics of the females bombers so if you like dominatrix you will have no problems. My problem is that I just wish they had a world like Bombmerman Story or Bomberman N64 where you can blow up all sorts of things and enjoy the area. Not another oh those blocks was not buildings and bomberman was never in representation. IT would also be nice to have some sorta reasonable story that makes all other bomberman games look good. Heres something I liked from the N64 series which some people missed out on Bomberman VS RegulusPart II.
First of all, please don't double post. As far as a new online Bomberman game for the Gamecube goes (I get the feeling I'm wasting my time here)... the point is that almost nobody has a Gamecube with a BBA. I know you do, that's great. You are a minority. "Yes but Bomberman online for Gamecube would be great and sell a billion copies" NO. No it wouldn't. Nobody would use the online capability just like nobody used it for the other games.
obviously that was a mistake. I was only pointing the GCn has Network capabilities and has a wide variety of games to play online, There is lots of people with the BBA, and I am not a mInority for supporting the Cube. Trust me you will see lots of networking for the Cube in the future.
Haha, when that happens send me your paypal address, I'll wire you over all the money you need to convince Ubisoft to make BG&E2 a Gamecube exclusive
To be quite frank, I’ve never met anyone so hardheaded and, might I add, ignorant. Throw in a touch of arrogance, and we’ve got ourselves an annoying member. The GC has no future, and I believe if you continue this disrespectful attitude, you will have no future on the assemblergames forums.
I will not be a follower of lies. The GCN is more then ready to suit the needs of millions of people. The GCN has Network Play. If you don't like my responces about the GCN then forget them but don't reslove in name calling or misdirecting my ideas.
