Bonk: Brink of Extinction (PS3 unreleased)

I don't know if this is "rare" but I have a copy of Bonk: Brink of Extinction for PS3. The game appears complete, it even has a release id.

Some background:
The game is a continuation of Bonk, a series that originally started on the PC Engine. This game never got released due to the company that published it, closing its North American branch; HudsonSoft

I will try to get some screenies from the game.

I will do everything BUT release the game as a note. I don't want to backstab the person I got the stuff from.

 

OMG you really have this? I was so looking forward to this. I don't know if it was every going to be a PSN title or retail? Maybe you can share some light on the subject.

 

I can't say how I came up with it, but it was to be a PSN title. The game was scheduled to be released the month or so before the company collapsed.

 

So I then the 360 and wiiware version's must be floating around out there too.

 

I was also looking forward to this game, being a fan of the originals. How would one play this game If it wasn't released officially? Wouldn't you need a hacked ps3?

 

Would something like this ever be reproduced?

 

It's from a dev unit. I would assume there are 360/wii versions as well.

 

Neat, would be interesting to get a release for sure, or failing that some gameplay of it.

Is this the game you're talking about or is the finished version different from this video?

 

that is the game yes but as far as i'm aware there is no beta/pnet build available in the 360 scene. shame it got canceled as i'm a fan of the bonk games even though a lot of people were saying it looks like arse. i think it looked ok.

I loved the GameBoy version... and recently got into the Gamecube version too.
The vid posted looks OK to me... would love to see this on WiiWare.

 

that wasnt my video. im having issues getting the game running on retail. if someone knows how to convert NPDRM for DEX to retail, i could use the help.

 

I have resigned the dex eboot.bin and have the game running. Working on unlocking the DLC now by using KLicense dumper and then resigning the edats + pkg

WOOOO! trying to get to 4.21 I bricked my hacked ps3...I still have the dev kit so thats always good....but i feel like a tool now. glad I didn't use this thing that often)
