one piece the size of one piece of paper u use to print with that was it nothing else and with that amount i can't really count it as anything as it couldn't even cover the console itself.
Unfortunately, no - I do remember thinking that the way it broke looked a lot more like Bakelite than ABS though. The top cover and the studs for the screws on the bottom cover were broken too. One other thing is that the color seems to have changed over the years - when those consoles were new the case and the buttons were pretty much the same color, which certainly isn't the case now.
I was the "someone" who packed it. I posted pictures of me packing it a long time ago. You yourself jet said it was fine. It did not move at all when shook and the box was in excellent condition. It is true I wrapped it in 2 layers of bubble wrap, but it was surrounded by other packing materials like newspaper, foam, etc. No packing paper, that would have been too harsh. Once I got my unit back, I, just like Trimesh said, broke a screwpost while trying to screw into it. That thing was (still is) fragile as hell. So before you shoot the fucking messenger, get both sides of the story. I can see why this place is dying.
I've clearly lost how many hands had exchanged this stuff I remember an image of a single layer of bubblewrap sheet, and I'd have used more bubblewrap is all im sayin
