Bootleg PS1 Collection spotted at Goodwill

If this you think this is a waste of time then check on Etsy and eBay for "professional reproduction PS1 games" etc.

 

It's by no means the worst, I'm just amazed that I only now encountered them for the first time

 

Those are cool because they have history at least. I ran into something similar at a game store a few months ago, the owner was telling me about how he bought a magical PS1 that played USA and JP games then showed me a stack of 20-30 US/JP "professional" bootlegs from the 90s like the ones you found.

I bought an Xbox 360 from someone here several years ago that was modded and from Hong Kong and it came with a ton of bootlegs, was pretty neat and they worked fine.

 

I am interested in how it was done....
It would also be cool to play too!
