I collect hardware, especially from Hong Kong but I know it's utter shit and has nothing but ass cloned games, is horribly designed and I doubt can give any gameplay satisfaction! (bitmapped greyscale graphics and a horrible resolution, thats self explanitory to me)
As I told someone, if I was a chinese kid that had only played famiclone games, this would be rather nifty. It's fairly cheap and it sure as hell plays and sounds better than a brick or Game&Watch-style LCD game. It's also pretty solid, contruction wise - the cheapness is in the solutions, not the materials. The Game King II features a better (but same resolution) LCD and one of the stupidest ideas i've seen: They added a mountain in the lit background.
We have a chinese member to get more info? Seems like a discussion on the chinese side too, too little info. The thing is there's no reason to have a phone with palm function with a directional pad input or 4 button arrangement hence my assumption that it has advanced capabilities for games, like gp32.
My Sony Ericsson phone has an 8-way joystick (but then it plays Java/Mophun games, I'm not sure if this thing does due to licensing fees)
Well you will be pleased (?) to know, I have just ordered a GameKing (1) and 13 games! should be here by the end of the week (should keep me amused until RE4 arrives) And I wonder why I have no money sometimes! :smt043
Yup, just got an email saying its been shipped, so I should have it tomorrow, or first thing Friday. I will let you all know how it goes, I can't wait to try the Super Mario clone! :smt043
The Clone Ds says Soccer and Street fighter on it. Does that mean the top and bottom are two different games? That would be pretty funny if it was. :smt043
Holy crap, this GBAX place rules...I've never seen it before. It's all PAL though, right? I mean, 50 Euro for a BRAND NEW SNES 2 is ridiculous, at least compared for what they're changing hands for in USD on ebay right now....
I wouldn't count on anything being any specific region, unless it's stated or you email the owner for confirmation. They sell a lot of US/JPN stuff, so it's best to check first!
Additionally the SNES 2 they offer may be a clone, although I have no real grounds for this - except that they obviously buy a lot of stuff in bulk from China.
I think it's quite cheap myself, heck, they were around $40 *in japan*. US SNES systems are quite desirable in these parts, sadly I fucked up mine :smt009
t3h Qu4l1ty! :-D Ordered about 3:45pm yesterday, arrived 11:00am today, how is that for delivery?!?!?!?!?! :smt045
