There aren't many pics of a sigma, would be nice to see ;)

Yeah, S-vid sounds like you needed a converter? It is quite obvious if you know what it does - it is converting the RGB to s-video, using composite sync as, well the sync!;) Then you probably need an audio lead, too.

That'll give me something to do when I get back.

To do S-Video, you just need their S-Video cable.... connect it to the RGB output and plug that into the S-Video on your TV. For Audio though, you plug the composite video cable into the Video output, but you use the yellow and white cables for audio. I still don't know why it works like that, but don't ask questions. I just gave the guy a funny look when he explained it.

Here's the not so funny update:

I call the woman ay MAS and order a supernova and sticks that "work with ps2 too"

    Fine, no problem she says.

Two weeks later, my stuff arrives.

My sticks that have all of the buttons for ps2.
Start, select, analog, great. I go to plug it into my ps2.. where's the cable? Is it a converter box? NO.

For some reason the woman at MAS doesn't seem to get that I want the sticks to work on ps2. She thinks I only want the buttons.

WTF? Did common sense just go out the fucking window?
Why is someone taking orders who has no idea about gaming?

So I get my sticks, and they have buttons in them for ps2 with NO FUCKING WIRING.
I shit you not. She thought I wanted a controller with buttons and no wiring.

So I call, and they will meet me "halfway" and will pay the return shipping.
Meanwhile I will be two weeks shit out of luck with no stick.

Oh yeah, it's about $40 to make each stick work with ps2.
So I get to pay $15 return to MAS, $40 for the work, two weeks wait.

I am so FUCKING ANGRY RIGHT NOW.

If you ever order from mas, make sure you fax, don't do it over the phone or you'll
get some botch job like I did.

I must have spent 25 minutes on the phone going over my order when I made it initially. The woman at MAS got that confused.

The sides aren't even laminated fiberboard, it's the crude stuff just painted.

Hehe, I could've warned ya about that Kev ;)

Gaijin, yeah that's what I just said, I think! I was trying to explain your confusion.

Here it is simpler (I hope!!)

RGB gives out the Red, Green and Blue signals. That's all very well, but there's no sync. you need a sync, so you use composite to get the sync. Hence connecting the yellow wire to composite on the "console". The other lead, white, gives out mono audio.

That, or they just gave you a dodgy wire that happened to be yellow instead of red!!
