BREAKING: Moore quits the Microsoft!

It's not a big deal. EA offered Moore a $550k/year salary plus a one-time $1.5 million bonus plus the opportunity to move back to the Bay Area. Whatever the reasons, Moore would be stupid not to accept the offer.

Seamus Blackley and Ed Fries (along with others from the original Xbox team) left at various points in the previous gen...things are still proceeding well enough without them.

J. Allard was an absolute tosser. I hope they don't move him anywhere near the gaming division!

He was too full of himself, worse than Moore, Harrison, Reggie et al. We don't need guys like him in gaming IMO.
