I will never understand why people love Star Wars so much. It's all very vanilla to me.

Oh, and that's one of the most amazing collections of anything I've ever seen. I wonder how much it's all worth? :smt030

Those Droids prototypes are worth all kinds of crazy dough, like several hundred dollars each.

The rocket firing boba fett prototype went for like $16000 or something rediculous like that

the movie props problably are worth even more to the right people.

The keyword here being "right people."

Some of it though problably isn't worth very much, like the store displays or cereal boxes.

You would be surprised about both of those. Since store displays were meant to be disposed of and are usually abused by customers finding them in even good condition I would think be very hard to find. They would also be much rarer than your average Star Wars item since they were also never offered to the public. Same with the Cereal boxes though to a lesser extent.

That is one very impressive collection that guy has.
Although there are some creepy things in there like those yearbooks and the cerial room.

    ummm... that kinda scares me.

  11. Yeah, I'm a bit of a Star Wars fan, but the whole college/highschool yearbook thing - that was a bit creepy. And like everything else, the Cereal Room was what turned my opinion from "a bit odd" to "fucking scary."

I wonder if any of it is still any good?

The reason the first three Star Wars films might look vanilla now is because practically every sci-fi film that followed copied them. What's more impressive is that those early films still look great today. I think they've aged very well.

That collection is fascinating. I can't imagine loving a film series so much that I'd fill my house with that amount of memorabilia, but nevertheless it's very impressive.

i don´t know if i should call it scary, freaky , geeky or über geeky

but seriously i like the three original movies without the extras

and i know one who has a complete collection of the Kennar action figures (the small ones)

but this is even out of his league

Food collection is very serious if you think about it. The food is tempting to eat, especially if its new, but you gotta fight that hunger craving in order to keep it sealed and then spontaneously explode in the future.

:prayer: I have to show that to my parents so they'll stop bitching about my measly collecting :p

I started collecting Star Wars stuff years ago (in 1997) but it rapidly became way too expensive...

I agree. I tried watching the older movies this past summer but the acting was horrid, I couldn't do it.

I collect Star Wars toys, I admit it. Only the figures though, none of the vehicles or whatever. I've got a pretty extensive collection (almost all since 1997) but nothing even close to what this guy has.

I also collect imported Bandai Godzilla figures. Yes, I know.... I know. You can stop laughing now.
