C*nt on Yahoo auctions !

Everyone, don't deal with a twat called kamachan427. Just read what he wrote about me after answering his mail once the action ended (Ended at something like 1 am and I wrote back at 4pm).

悪い評価の多い方ですし、意味不明なメールがありましたので、調べたところ、存在しない住所・氏名でのご連絡がありました。こういったお暇な方もおられるのですね。大変、勉強になりました。ありがとうございました。

For those who can't read japanese he basically says I won't pay, that my address is false then warns everyone not to sell to me ! What a Fucking Twat this guy is ! I'm going to complain to Yahoo about him. Probably do sweet FA but I mean WTF !

This is one reason dealing with Yahoo Japan scares the crap out of me. Not only can it go badly wrong (like any other auction site), but when you are insulted in Japanese you have no idea (at least I would have no idea) and probably post back a big old thanks!

Why do people do these things, eh? Just to mess around with your stats and your day!

What's the full story, Yakumo? Poorly constructed mail maybe? Japanese' threshold for understanding "barely incorrect words" is basically nothing. Sounds like he didn't understand a few parts... although I don't know how would could confirm quickly that you had a non-existant address.

You should get your wife to do the bad feedback. Ones that look like they've been written in the passion of the moment usually have a reverse effect.

 

There are lots of things that can go wrong, such as a Japanese person ignoring/trashing a mail from a non-Japanese address, messages formatted in EUC / JIS / Shift-JIS causing junk to appear in the message when he reads it, etc etc. I'm happy and consider myself lucky that bullshit like this happens only to 1% of my transactions on Yahoo Japan.

 

The mail I sent him was the same mail I send EVERY person I buy from on Yahoo. Basically all I do is change a few line to suit the auction. I got my wife to verify my mail and she said it was perfect. We're now in a verbal slagging match over Yahoo auction "Navi messages". My wife wrote the messages (Because I'm fuming over this) accusing him of being a racist since he didn't cancel the auction until he knew my real name. I told him to check with Diawa living if he's so sure my address doesn't exists plus sent him a scan of my Softbank phone bill (Important info erased) to show the address is real.

He then comes back saying he will sue me then goes on about how I have 10 negative feedbacks. I come back with I've done over 100 trades in the last year without 1 single bad mark yet he's only been trading for 1 month with a total of 13 trades, one of which is bad. So I said "If I'm a bad user then what are you?" Class !

Yeah true but that wouldn't have happened because I'm living in Japan using a full Japanese Bios PC with Japanese XP. He's just being an arse.

He can now go and fuck him self for all I care. Probably thought he could fob off the dub foreigner. He thought wrong !

In my opinion you should add the same lines in romaji after the regular message from now on, just in case.

No point though. My Japanese is perfect (for yahoo anyway). Japanese are really bad at reading in Romanji as well since there's no Kanji to tell them the meaning of the word.

Just got a message back from him yet again saying my address doesn't exist because it's not listed in the NTT phone book. What a F*ing idiot ! Hasn't heard of Xdirectory? I'm not in the phone book to avoid idiots calling me. Man, Proof given yet he still has to argue back. So this time I sent him a screen grab from Yahoo Maps showing the street. He'll probably say that is photo shopped Anyway, this guy is a really arse hole. nothing to do with miss communication at all. Yahoo users, avoid this seller at all costs.

Yahoo really is turning into shit. I just bought a Famicom TV 14" for 15,000 yen. It arrived yesterday and the Super Famicom built-in to the top doesn't work. So the guy tells me he's only willing to give me a 9,000 yen refund, plus I have to pay return shipping after paying shipping to me, which will be a total of 5,000 yen. So I lose 5,000 yen on shipping and 6,000 yen on the refund and he profits 6,000 yen since he's only giving a partial refund.

I mean WTF?

 

There are way too many fucking pricks on Yahoo now. I'm going to have to make a new account as well because I need to bid on an item that requires no recent negative feedbacks. Thanks to today's prick I can't bid now without making a new 0 feedback account. I'm truly pissed ! The missus is as well. She said this seller is Mukatsuku or basically a twat or any other foul word you can think of in English. She's going to report this whole mess to yahoo service center tomorrow in hope of getting him banned and the negative feedback removed.

You guys are magnets. My miss ratio is way, way less than 1%. Like... 2 bad auctions ever out of close to 1000. I always sign my real name in katakana as well.

Using the torihiki navi, you should have no encoding issues at all. Even so, it's hardly reason for them to get pissed off. I've had to resend countless mails b/c I had sent them in some mucked up encoding.

By the way, this guy has banned the 2nd highest bidder from buying the game as well !! I wonder why???? Not Japanese again? The buyer named jyou68921 is now being offered the item.

Before that he had written to me twice within 10 hours at which time I was sleeping then off to work. If his reason for the bad feedback was really because of my 9 bad feedbacks over 1 year ago and 100 possitive sales later then why not say so before knowing my name?
