A few weeks ago we started getting a daily visit from a cat we hadn't seen before in our garden. We own a cat and didn't want to encourage any fighting (our female cat is very territorial), so we would chase her away. We noticed that she was pregnant, and therefore we chased her less & less. Last night I arrived home to discover that she's installed herself on our patio and was clearly about to go into labour. Et voila! Sadly the others kitten didn't make it as it was far too small. She's a young cat and I think this must have been her first litter. Lucky to get one alive.
Have had previous cats that decided to up and have their kittens underneath my bed and in my closet... Cute little thing though, hope it does well.
Our kitten did a similar thing, she only looked like she was just gaining weight. We come home and she's nursing 3 kittens. The kitten in your photo is almost identical the one of the babies we had. Too cute.
