Meh...just tried it, and having to zoom out the map all the time and trying to figure out where you're supposed to go is a pain in the ass. And since everything seems to be taken from another Castlevania game, the game seriously looks like recycled material and a halfassed attempt, like the non-redrawn sprites in a Capcom vs game. Think I'll pass on this one.
You'll be missing out, don't judge it based on the demo. I'm currently around 30 hours in and still levelling up various protagonists. It's tough but you never loose stuff you picked up so even after you died, you keep things that make you more likely to succeed next time you'll be attempting a chapter.
Yeah, maybe I do need to give it a second chance, I dismissed the new Hydro Thunder at first, but it turned out to be a fun game, even if totally inferior to the original in a lot of ways. Is there a real map in the game? The zooming out method is a really annoying way of trying to figure out where to go. Also, calling games like this HD should be deemed false advertising, since all the sprites are just old PS1 stuff.
