No, there's a Platinum Collection release now: http://www.siliconera.com/2010/11/1...-joins-platinum-collection-still-region-free/ Apparently it was only released a week or so ago.
Ah, didn't know that. My guess is you could find the original used cheaper (which is also region free).
Ok So I got half the Achievements in Guwange already and now that I'm seeing the game in english. I'm just now Realizing how screwed up it is. yeesh That's one Dark fuckin game
http://www.hori.jp/us/products/xbox360/us_xbox360_horipad_ex2_turbo/index.html Looks very good but I was also thinking about buying an adaptor for connecting PS2 joypad on X-Box 360. Which choice would you recommend me? Does Horipad d-pad works great on figthing games and 2-D action games like Contra?
That's the one I have. Mine is in black. The reason I bought it was to play Street Fighter since it was impossible to have a good game with the standard 360 pad. I also use the Hori for all 2D fighters, shooters and platform games. It really does have a nice D-pad on it. The analogue sticks are a bit too tall for my liking though. If I was you I'd buy the Hori. The PlayStation pad was never any good for fighting games. In an ideal world though, someone with a brain would make a Saturn pad converter or at least a USB pad converter so that we could use the best 2D gamers pad ever. I'm not just saying that because I like Saturn either. The JPN Saturn pad was pretty much perfect. There's yet to be a better pad for 2d gaming IMO.
I snagged a Madcatz Fightpad for the 360 which has been excellent, though the cover art is a bit much. The 360's standard d-pad is a fucking dog anyway, absolutely useless. Agree with Yakumo though as usual, the Jap Saturn pad is still the right tool for the job and I wish it was available for all platforms.
