Charlie blasts territory n64 cart with weird sticker

I picked this up today though I noticed that it has a weird sticker any ideas what
It is
The sticker says tamper evident security label apollo home entertainment do not attempt to remove

Looks like Apollo used to rent games and that sticker was to prevent people from substituting the rented game for a cheap/broken one by swapping stickers.

Just a guess though.

Me neither, what I said is only my hypothesis.

 

It's just a rental sticker, nothing special.

 

That was my thought as well. Some rental joints placed a disc-sized sticker over the entire face of the disc. My second-hand copy of Dynamite Cop had one.

 

They used to be all pretty big and were all over the place in the UK - I think they went bust around 2007 or 2008.
