ye I read about that, isn't it the euro ones that emulate it in the firmware or something? why did they do that? was it purely financial? i personally think a revision would be great... top down the ps3 is lovely and shiney but all those curves are a bit mank... i was expecting a PStwo variant of the PS3, but not for a few years yet... anything to get that shiny black hindenburg cheaper!
No stainless steel top, but I am sure you could cook a few eggs on it. Seriously, the PS3 gets pretty hot at times.
Yes, the PS3 was never intended to include the EE but it was obvious they weren't going to have the backwards compatibility high enough for launch so it was temporarily added. When the original US/Japan stocks run dry then they will make NTSC ones with the EE removed. I imagine that Sony will just lose less money on each console sold and won't drop the price. What is really annoying being in a PAL country is that while PS3 games aren't region protected, the PS1 & PS2 games are. So importing a PS3 that has a EE is pointless. smf
Wait wait, they had a PSone inside too? I dont recalls seeing that on the spec... Cuz, I mean, c'mon! couldnt they emulate that? even PPCs have PSX emulators these days.
