    I feel that way sometimes.

  2. Oh, no offense meant to anyone, I was just elaborating for the sake of those quick with the "only in America" comments that the news article was actually just some small issue blown to erroneous proportions by a sensationalistic headline on the part of of the author/editor.

I didnt take it as offense but I've been noticing lately that most of your posts as of late have been, I don't know, pessimistic. Like your comment on the manifesto. I don't remember you being this way :(. I just sense change in you, thats all.

  4. "Sense change in you, I do, mmm..." :smt043

I'm not sure I'm doing anything different - I thought I was always one of the first to complain on subjects such as this that started leaning in certain directions...

As for the 'manifesto'... well, it really was shit. It was a combination of complaints everyone's heard before with some of his own half-assed, ill-thought out opinions, packaged as a 'gamer's manifesto'. Manifesto is defined as "a public declaration of principles, policies, or intentions, especially of a political nature" and I don't know about you, but I'd certainly like a slightly more intelligently thought-out document to state my principles and intentions.

But like I said, I wasn't aware of being OVERLY more pessimistic than usual. Maybe it's just because I was all weekend without internet that made me either seem more pessimistic, or actually so (hey, having your router fried by lightning could make any person into a simmering cauldron of rage, could it not? Especially when you spend 4 days thinking it's just your lousy provider dicking around instead of hardware on your end having problems.) ;)

I would rather we let California be free and set sail (straight into the Pacific). The world would be a better place without Hollywood and all of its movie executives.

Give back Cali to Mexico and let Texas be its own country.

  15. Get your citizenship straight. :smt043 Where do you want it, to Mexico or you in Georgia? If you've been here as long as you're said, you're American too, you know. :smt043

But the cutting California loose and letting it sink - err, FLOAT off into the Pacific is not a bad idea at all. It would keep the tourists from coming up here in the summer. ;)

Hey man, Los Angeles is the greatest city in the world.

The only problem is everyone who lives here is an asshole.

    Interesting fact:

The three largest cities in Mexico: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey.

The three largest populations of Mexicans: Mexico City, Los Angeles, Guadalajara.

In my opinion, they dont' really need to give it back - we already have it.

There are a shitload in NC, so I'd assume there are even more there (closer to the Mexican border).

Edit: Or is it? Eh, I'm so not in the mood to fuck with maps right now...
