WOW ! Consider my inner graphics whore's world rocked ! This is one gorgeous game  up to 18 on MP 16 MP maps in the box to start :love2::love2::love2: It's going to be a while for Halo 3 to get back inside my 360.
Yeah the Xbox\Xbox 360 are to shooters what the Dreamcast was for driving games. It had a ton ! Test Drive: Le Mans made up for all the others though
no thanks! I m more of a quality platformer fan, so I m really looking forward to the next Banjo and Conker (i wish), or even the next Kameo. COD4 seems interesting indeed further to reading some reviews, but I ve got more than enough games to keep me busy at this time -including RE4:wii edition and of course Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario =)
I don't think I'll be picking this one up...I never bought any fo the others either. I think the only army game I ever liked was the first MoH. Just really don't interest me much, but I hear this is suppose to be really good. I played the beta and was just kind of like.....bored I guess.
I'll get assassins creed and get CoD4 off ebay for cheap when people whiz through the 4 hour single player and hate the online mode. That's how I got CoD3 also.
It felt like Call of Duty 2 went on forever. I'll get COD4 when my friends do. I bet multiplayer will be super awesome.
MP just kicks so much a$$ ! No lag, no waiting around searching for other players either it's fast as heck. Some decent people online too, no annoying kids. You level up pretty quick it's around level 5 where the MP game starts to open up and that'll take you about 20-30 mins. Some levels are crazy huge too.
Since when were FPS games supposed to take very long in single player? No shooter lasts very long unless it's filled with tons of useless boring dialog and cutscenes (Halo 3).
Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Half Life 2, etc, but I don't think they have to be super long either. I don't even remember Halo having a giant amount of cutscenes except at the begining and end of a level, and occasionally in the middle.
Halo is overrated. In the world of games today it's hard to make a game long. The reason behind this is quite possibly because players want variety, which means you can't get away with using the same textures/models over and over again. This also means that each game asset needs more time to be created. You can imagine the rest of the chain without me continuing this post.
I think I spent a good 10 hrs on Bioshock but it doesn't have multiplayer. But it's a lot more than my 3 or 4 hrs of the Halo 3 campaign. I didn't want Bioshock to ever end.
