So are you guys playing straight off of a CD, or did you convert this to an ISO? I haven't had any luck yet, but it might be because EPSXE confuses the hell out of me.

I'm playing off a Cd. Just burnt it using nero and default options. ePSXe is pretty confusing though, I can see where you're coming from there...

  3. Someone please post more screenshots. Any shots of Deuce (the character) close up in a black/dark background?

Thatll be easy, theres plenty of never ending holes you can fall into. I'll try to do some in a mo when my computer stops being an arse.

TheRedEye: Its not so hard realy. I personaly have the game mounted on a vertual drive (Daemon Tools). Wether you decide to burn it or use a virtual drive, do the following in ePSXe:

    1. Set up your controller by going into config-game pad-pad1. Then while in the menu that shows the controller click on the boxes that corespond to each button on a tradional psx pad, and then press a button on your keyboard or game pad that you would like to use for that function.

    2. Next you need some pluggins for it to work. Im not sure which come with the program, but this is what I use:

    Video: Pete's D3D Driver 1.64
    Audio: ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.
CDrom: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2.

If your missing those then you'l have to do a search as I don't remember where I got my copies. You'l also need to find the psx bios (I can't link them here as far as I know).

    3. Once you have the bios and necessary pluggins, you'l need to place them in their corresponding directories in your ePSXe folder. After you've done that, go into each ones section under the config menu and select them. The video one will need a bit of tweeking, but you can see some settings which I posted on pagw three of this topic. The CDrom one only needs you to set which drive the games should be read from.

    4. If you've done all that, and your game is inserted/mounted, go to file-run cdrom, and after 3-10 seconds the game should start.

    Hope that helps.

Benedict_Arnold: Why ask others to post screens? You have the game to.

Aha! Yeah, it does, I didn't realize you could mount a *.nrg file. I tried converting it into an ISO and running, but it never worked.

I got it running, but my stupid AirFlo controller seems to always think the second analogue stick is moving around wildly. Maybe I ought to just run to Radio Shack and spend money I don't have on a PS2-USB converter.

Anyway, rock on, thanks a bundle.

  7. Ok, the best I can do is attached. It ain't too bad for 30 mis of work (I had to shrink them)

    Attached Files:

  8. Becuase my character keeps going in circles when I play on ePSXe. I need to somehow activate analog support on ePSXe which I don't know how yet.

In the controller setup, just select analog/Digital in the top right corner:

Now, here are my screenshots from the game. They aren't watermarked, but pass them on as your own and your genitals will be forcibly removed with a rusty spatula. You have been warned...

Theres a handy nice little feature in the game which lets you view all the sprites, textures etc in the game - heres a couple of screens from them

Oh Dear - Deuce seems to have put on a bit of weight here (AKA the game fucked up)

And finally, as someone requested, a image of deuce on a black background - Where I fell down a never ending hole:

At one point I managed to fall down a hole and then fly - that was fun, but i didn't manage to get a screenshot of it unfortunately :(

Try setting your controller type to 'Digital/Analog (F5)' in the ePSXe config-game pad menu. I use that for my dual shock adapter, but it should work for other controllers to (keyboard included). Otherwise I don't know what could be causing the problem your have ourside disconnecting and re-connecting your controller in case the contacts didn't get fit in correctly.

Edit, I guess the_steadster beat me to that one.

Btw, you might wana change some of the images on the insert you made, sense several of those scenes are nowhere near as complete in the build we have as the one their from. Also, if you want to get the full resolution cover/insert hosted try using this site which i've been using for mine (its free, doesn't place waterarks, and allows for large files): http://www.imageshack.us/

This one is just so we have a shot of the first boss without text overlaying him:

Same thing as in TheRedEye's post, but with a little filtering and in png format:

  14. All, for those that downloaded the game, please don't spread the game right away. Legit did us a favor and if it's spread then he won't get to the amount he needed (who would donate if they already had it??). Just lookin out for my man Legit.

Legit, I'll hopefully be sending about $5 tommorow, once my money gets transferred to Paypal. How big is the game, out of curiousity?

I think it's to the left of Level 1? Not home, can't verify.
