Are you also considering the normal black xboxes that came packaged with different games (i.e. JSRF/Sega GT xbox bundle, or Tetris/Star Wars, etc.)?
Japanese White 1 year aniversary* Japanese Smoke 2 year aniversary* Supposed to be: Japanese Smoke 1st year aniversary* 22FEB02 Japanese White 2nd year aniversary* 22FEB03?
Technically, the Japanese Limited Edition Smoke was a Launch XBOX, therefore not actually an Anniversary XBOX. And the Japanese Limited Edition White was for the 2 Year anniversary of the XBOX in Japan and was released around 22FEB04. And you will see more of me here because I am no longer at sea!
Don't forget that you need to get each version of the stock/retail Xbox (1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc.). :icon_bigg
>You need both if you want to be anal. The original ver was 1.4 and was limited to like 5,000 odd consoles. ...the second much later ver was 1.6 and was damn near unlimited to use up stock of remaining crystal cases. >As already stated smoke was Japanese launch, not anniversary. >In the dev section you are missing the black cased DVT4 Dev Kit.
Definately, thats what makes things interesting. ...My 'idea' of 'complete' is broken down into detail, i.e for example an Alpha Dev Kit, or a DVT3 Dev Kit must have all the items that originally came with them, not just the Dev Kit itself. ...'Completeness' is my specialality, and forte
Lol, PSiEK's collection is stunning. I do have more than 31 Xbox's myself, but that means nothing, quality is what matters, not quantity. ...Remember less that 10% of my stuff is ever on 'display' / 'known' about ;-) Btw the Hello Kitty Xbox's sure are official, they were built around the same deal package as the Panzer Dragoon Xbox's, both being SEGA related
Good luck on your ambitious undertaking, I am trying to get a complete Xbox software collection myself (every title that takes my interest). Only 18 more and I am pretty much finished, I have +50 titles right now. Don't have the money/connections/time to lay my hands on more obscure stuff though. Also, when you're collecting things for Dreamcast, GameCube, PlayStation/PlayStation 2, Xbox and Nintendo DS, there's only so much money you can spend. Especially when you're at uni. =)
if you're crazy enough, you'll buy every console, even if there are just small differences like one additional controller. get them all boxed (!!!) and pile them up, will be a nice picture
I know that I would love to see your "real" collection, but I don't think that I would want to go through the background check, blood test, NDA, waiver of first-born or any of the other prerequisites in order to just see pictures of it.
I forgot where I got this one (Left) but the guy kept on calling it "Taco Bell" Shown next to Kasumi Lid and UK Halo 2. (These are the one I have opened, which I regret. :-( :crying: So I too, have to get more in my collection. Now it is going to be Sealed cardboard box Xbox collecting for me.) And even I have to bow down to OE.ray:ray:ray: He definately has good contacts,or he is working on the inside! And do you have Details on EA White - first time I heard of that one. I have tried to secure a Kitty, but one way or another never happens.
There was talk here about the Hello Kitty Xbox, saw this photo of one: in this thread, in case anyone was after some info.
03/12/2007  Hey PSiEK! ! The case clear blue with black jewel, it's LE Halo 2 in Japan The Xbox clear blue DOAU, 2nd LE in Japan  And the case clear blue (left), it's LE BELL in Canada. This xbox is the same one as the LE Halo2 in the United States
Sorry to bump a old thread. Halo 2 LE (Taiwanese model) http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=497462 And the guy is selling it cheap also.
I always thought that was a badly done photoshop xbox.I know they call it xbox development unit.I say its fake, but oldengineer or hl718 should know should know if its real or not.
