I did a bit of scanning today thought you guys might like to see a few covers of mockup artwork for unreleased / forthcoming / whatever games, enjoy... ...First up we have 'Kameo' cover for the Xbox, as you know it's been shelved for the Xbox as it's due to go straight to the 360, so that makes it rather unusual in it's own right: America's Army for the Xbox and PS2: Starcraft Ghost for the Xbox, GC and PS2: Ultimate Spiderman on Xbox, PS2 and GC: Rainbow six lockdown on Xbox and PS2: Ghost Recon 3 on Xbox, GC and PS2: Prince of Persia on on Xbox, GC and PS2: Far Cry on the Xbox: The Warriors on Xbox and PS2: XMen on Xbox: Darkwatch on Xbox and PS2: Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood on the Xbox, CG and PS2: 25 to Life on the PS2: ...Btw these are all original retail quality dev studio printed mock covers not homemade jobbies!
There was a game that came out at target called 187 and then i went to gamestop and 187 was a different writing altogether it was kinda weird.
I think about 2 years ago, my local EB had what appeared to be near-final box mock-ups for the Xbox version of RENT-A-HERO with "pre-order" stickers on them. The back had all the usual features and whatnot. Makes me wish I could have snagged one from the shelf.
just a quick question...what do they do with those boxes after the game comes out..or rather the sleeves themselves..... and the old demo disc(s) what happens to them?
Well, a lot of the inserts at mine are printed on normal paper, so they just chuck them. I know some of the GC demos just sit next to the system, though im not sure what happens to them all.
