Looks so cool. Really had a lot of character. Wish I could play it!

 

Have you ever considered reviving this game? Feels like something that would work on Kickstarter these days.

 

Thanks for taking to time to do this! I love the art direction of this game, something about old timey stuff is just right up my alley. I can't think of many games that use that real old school cartoon style, except for Cuphead which I'm freakin excited for.

 

Is there any way you could share this demo with AssemblerGames community?

 

I'm going to post the demo files for people to mess with, I'll put a link here once I do.

I am pretty sure Eric is a busy man. He will post it when he has time. I predict middle or late October.

 

@Eric Browning have you had a chance to play Cuphead? While it's not exactly what you guys were going for with Weasel, it's somewhat in the same vein (bringing the world of 1930s animation to life as a video game).

Cuphead is a sort of side scrolling platformer and boss rush game created with actual ink-on-paper animation that is very authentic to the Fleischer style and other early animation. I think you might appreciate it.

I need to stress how creepy that model is in the second to last pic. The AI also makes an effort to fight him and can push him up buildings if setup right
