Thanks for the buisness tips, but I think you need to get out there and learn something about starting a buisness and actually earning a profit. I don't put spacey ideas about the free market above earning money. You can beleive whatever you want but at the end of the day I get paid for my effort. I guess you prefer to be praised on a forum for hypothetical concepts about how money is made from selling retail goods on the internet. So what issue do you have with sites like ebay and amazon? If you have made money, then volume and traffic should be primary issues to your success. Did you use the internet or did you sell the items by word of mouth student to student for cash? I also did some side buisness stuff to pay for college, but I set up a corporation and actually paid taxes on my earnings. Its a lot tougher and more productive to gain experience filling out the paperwork. The experience was invaluable, but the money I made then was also a plus too. However today the money is the most trivial point.
Well, it wasn't like the lottery, but I can say it was like making 25% on top of my salary. I think that's substantial.
