I love the fact that after some tit started publicly leaking builds from Partner net and stuff, people have started jumping guns on all sorts of things. Crazy Taxi is certainly "new" (as in not announced yet), but the fact that Quake Arena's coming to XBLA has been known for almost all of eternity (We're talking like for 3 years here now, with various reminders along the road to remind us that it, just like Doom 2 XBLA, is not dead.)

I knew quake arena was announced long ago but nothing really has come from that and truthfully I though maybe they gave up on it after carmack became obsessed with the iPhone.

Damn they are leaking the games now from PNET? :\ Quake certainly has come and gone on there though.

Quake 360 will only be good if it supports keyboard and mouse like the DC version.

And that has about zero chance of ever happening.

Does any 360 game support KB/M? Last I remember it was not allowed by MS.

Final Fantasy XI. But that breaks tons of rules.

The most mind-bending part about Final Fantasy XI is how the chatpad works in it. Whoever coded the in-game support for that thing should be pulled out behind the shed and shot.

(Also, the new dashboard update gives you access to the FFXI install data, by the way. If you go to the transfer option, there's something called "Publisher Data", or something like that, which will, amongst others, feature the 8~9gb data for FFXI)

Yup... I hate to point fingers, but I generally get the feeling that the massive amounts of recent leaks has something to do with the Sonic Adventure and Sonic 4 media you see spammed all over the place too. Equipment certainly put into the wrong hands.

It's pretty amazing to think that everyday people have had access to partner net since like 360 launch, and yet the only media that has come out from there has been the occasional "rumor" of titles being in development + some screenshots being put up relatively close to launch of titles + the achievement data for some titles. Technically, in most cases, no real harm's been done and everyone's happy.

Suppose it might just be a matter of time before developers get more careful, publishers demand changes to the system, MS starts following up on stuff and things get more secure (and someone possibly gets their fingers burned)

Carnivol, how did they mess up the chatpad support? Never played it and I'm curious..

For some reason, there's like a horrible delay on it. Sometimes it doesn't register button inputs, other times it doesn't register a release of a button. The funny thing with this delay issue is that it's non-existent if you bring up the GUIDE mid-game and type stuff there, but once you pop back into the game... nightmare fuel of often tping liiiiikeeeeeee__________this. (Forum didn't like multiple spaces, so I replaced them with _s)

+The functionality of the GREEN special key is absolutely horrible (you use it to toggle the HUD). I mean... how often do you wanna use !?/()<>*:-' when you type stuff in the game...? If you wanna use any of the "GREEN" functions, you need to press GREEN once, then press it again and hold it, then press whatever button you wanna use (instead of just pressing it once to toggle the green functions; which is how it normally works) Sure, you need some way to disable the HUD for every once in a blue moon when you want to take a screenshot (if you don't want to use whatever voodoo you normally use on the gamepad to remove the HUD)
