lol oh my, now there is one less animal molester around us. And he died , because he was stung by a stingray. maybe he had made that "beauty" cranky ? sorry for my malice.

I liked one exact show of his, and that was when he told about the most venomous animals in Australia, and I have seen the other shows of him. But to me , I knew he would die, because of his actions. he has been agitating animals for too long.

And yes I know he did ALOT of good stuff(making people aware of animals who are close to extinction) and all his other good stuff, but I still think he agitated the animals. And I am not withdraing the comment about him molesting animals.

RIP Mr. Irwin. Now only a few left to do stupid things with animals on tv for the viewing pleasure of the public!

Well I don't blame the animals for being animals, but I do blame him for invading in their wild habitat and wanting to be friends. It was more likely than not that he would get it someday, nevertheless R.I.P Irwin.

Hey people, can we agree on, if you feel I am an arsehole, then it is NOT because of my opinion in this thread ? but something complete different, since my opinion is maybe one of the rare opinions about Steve Irwin (truthfully, I think he was an idiot).
And I am in my full right to have that opinion ?

That is the most fucking retarded thing I have heard in a long time.

If he didn't do what he did, those "molested" animals would still be
used as wallets or cut up in cat food.

Wow. That's about as intelligent as someone calling all gays child molestors and celebrating their deaths. You may not have liked the "show" personality, but Irwin wasn't just a ham for the camera. He was also an active zoologist who did plenty of outreach education and research. The man should be commended for his work with animals.

Glad to know that blind prejudice is alive and well in the world.

    sheesh...

Yeah, Hitler wasn't that bad. RIP Hitler.

There's no need to show respect for someone who you have none for. I didn't like Irwin's shows, but sadly he left behind 2 young kids and a wife.

I knew this was going to happen sooner or later. Very sad.

I guess this thread proves that all PETA people push their stupid opinions too far and are complete idiots.

And keep in mind that it was said by someone who always has to correct you or say something if he thinks you make a any remark in regards to homosexuals or danes in anyway.

Guys, may we please move away from ganging up on Wolvie (and/or calling people you disagree with "complete idiots"), and go back to remembering mister Irwin?

Didn't really like his show, and found some of his stunts stupidly risky... but he did a lot for the production of animal documentaries, helped the Australian Zoo a lot and, well, he was a respectable human being.

Also, he led to very funny parodies, and was stereotypically australian for the world.

Therefore, may he rest in peace.
