Sharp X68000 isn't a PC, as in IBM PC. it's more like a souped up Mac or Amiga, with arcade quality graphics & sound. okay yeah, X68000 is a personal computer but not an IBM compatable PC.

the FM Towns is closer to a PC, because it had Intel CPUs used in PCs, plus MS DOS and Windows. although it far surpassed PCs of the day thanks to custom graphics hardware.

there were 5 games actually made specifically for the Super Grafx that got released.

    1. Battle Ace (1989)
    2. Grandzort (1990)
    3. DaiMakaiMura aka Ghouls 'N Ghosts (1990)
    4. Aldynes (1991)
    5. 1941 Counter Attack (1991)

plus 2 PC-Engine games that ran better when played on a SuperGrafx: Darius Plus and Darius Alpha.

Although there were several other SuperGrafx games in development or at least in planning, that got canned, Strider being by far the most famous. others were Galaxy Force II, Forgotten Worlds (later released on SuperCD), OutRun, and i think maybe AfterBurner II. (any others, guys?)

Of the five SuperGrafx-specific games released, 3 of them: Battle Ace, Grandzort and Aldynes are completely exclusive to the SuperGrafx system, not made available for any other format.

The other two were arcade games: 1941 Counter Attack, and DaiMakaiMura~Ghouls 'N GHosts was obviously arcade and multi platform on many formats.
