If he will packup all the stuff he owes me wizard i will pay for the S&H myself. And ill do the expensive one like USPS Priority to make sure i get it quick or Fedex doesnt matter to me i just want all my stuff back in my hands and not his. Please let me know wizard and ill send him a paypal payment or i can send it to you??

 

I'm looking online for all the options, I honestly think that either Paypal or COD from the USPS will be the best options. For example here is the information about the COD mailing

basically what I want to do is have David either get the packages shipping quotes and either pay the shipping for him to mail out, or maybe just do the COD with tracking option. That way people can get check/money order ready to give to postal worker when they show up. But at the same time not everyone will be home when the mail shows up, so they would then have to make a trip to the post office. So seems the paypal might be better option in the end.

Yes i agree wizard i will do the COD option it works for me ill do either one through USPS or FEDEX. See when david can do it because im ready!!

I'm weary of sending David Thomas any money at this time. He's had my red case and my chips since July of last year. I paid for the shipping out of my own pocket and I've got nothing in return. How do I know he's not going to have another accident or death in the family. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...

Don't send him any more money. If he's broke, tell him to borrow from a bank or get a loan.

There is zero chance a bank is going to give him a loan. They would have to be nuts.

 

Yes that would work, but I do not think he has the internet back on yet, not sure if he can print from his phone.

 

Wizard, I appreciate everything you are doing. I really do. However, I don't trust David. I just don't. I can't give him anymore money. If he needs money, he can sell some of his rare ass xbox shit. Those X3CP systems go for $400 at least. If he every wants to be accepted back into the community he needs to keep his word first. Deliver the stuff that he owes people. Its our stuff...

 

Silly people! How are you going to PayPal him? He doesn't have Internet access to get the funds into his bank account... which is probably frozen!

By the way, COD is Cash On Delivery (USPS say Collect) - the seller ships the goods (at his expense) and the buyer has to pay the postman for the goods. NOT shipping - the seller has already paid that. So that's no good to you, either.

What you want if you insist on paying for shipping is to book the carrier yourself. Put in his address as the collection address, arrange a day with him beforehand and tell him it could be any time that day. You'd just have to choose a carrier who don't insist on printing out labels, if he can't get online and do that.

It's tricky - you don't really want to pay shipping when you've already paid him to send items (I assume). However, he can't pay - and who's going to lend him the money? It's not like he's selling items on eBay and needs a short-term loan to cover postage costs, which he'll get back. He's already had any money for shipping, so they'd just be covering bad debt and knowing they won't get their money back.

 

I agree. Very good point. Who knows if he's even telling us the truth...

 

He can borrow from family then, who knows.

David created this mess, he sorts it out. People have already given him the money and he took it, used it. Then said "I'm broke". This reminds me of tax cheats who declare bankruptcy but can still have money to run a car, and get their hair done etc.

I agree with everything you guys are saying, but the stuff he has of mine I want back this isn't small stuff this is rare stuff that I have collected and paid allot for. It's my bad for sending it to him I shouldn't have trusted him that well, but I want the stuff back and I need to do whatever I can to get it back from him Hey wizard, thanks for the help bro!!
