In Crazy Taxi's case it's we don't feel like paying offsping for their music and KFC/Pizza Hut didn't pay us enough to stay put
I've always been terrible at daytona USA so not massive news for me but always good to see SEGA giving it's fans some love. Today daytona USA, tommorow Dreamcast 2! Well probably not but hey, maybe we'll get some more classic sega re-releases. It'd be nice to be able to play dreamcast and saturn games without being paranoid about killing my beloved consoles
Apart from the screwy light reflection graphics, how does 2001 differ from Daytona 2 and Racing Classic? I was always under the impression that Daytona 2 was all about the self-contained motorized driver's seat. I haven't seen Racing Classic in a western arcade ever, but all the screens suggest that it's just the original Daytona code running upscaled.
Daytona 2001 is a completely different game from Daytona 2. The cars look different, handles differently and featurs some awful music. Still, it's not all bad. What we need on Xbox live is Daytona arcade 1 and 2 mixed in to one game. Now that would be worth 1200 points any day. Yakumo
There's been a rumored Daytona port for a few years now. It'd be nice if it did come out (in a decent fashion), but Sega has no real cache that they know how to do anything good, anymore.
