Good lord, a repeat of 10 years ago. Why, oh why must they choose a game that has little to do with stories...

well if your talking about mortal kombat(first one) that was actually a pretty good movie and the best videogame movie ever made, however if its resident evil, wing commandor, or double dragon, then yeah thats pretty bad, even then i gotta feeling its going to be cheesy as HELL!!!!!!!!!!, whats even worse is who they picked for kasumi, she really doesnt look the part, they should of got that chick from episode 3 that dies at the end (sorry never saw 2 so not sure if she was in that one too).

Something tells me the movies will be the same formula as the games. Lots of glitz, even more tits, and very little substance.

Resident Evil might not be good, but at least is entertaining. Mortal Kombat is worse then House of the Dead...

Devon Aoki as Kasumi? Even the polygon model from Kasumi of the first game is better looking then Devon Aoki. This girl is just too damn ugly.

 

Did anyone see the John Waters film A Dirty Shame with Selma Blair? If you have you'll understand that at least they have the technology to do the movie right.

 

Wow, I didn't know Dead Or Alive was nearly popular enough to warrant something like this.

Oh, and the best video game movie ever was definitely Super Mario Bros. The Movie.

actually i ment the asain chick from episode 3,and for the record mortal kombat was alot more accurate then re, but thats just my prefrence, lets see how the japanses intial d movie turns out.

im with you yakumo, the second i heard her name, i was like "not the chick from 2 fast 2 furious!!!!!!!!!!!", and in that movie she did not look good either, though shockingly some think shes pretty hot, but come on there are better asain actreses to choose for the role. I can only imagine how bad jamie presily acting is going to be, from the looks of it its going to be a cheesy pop corn flick and nothing more, too bad really, i guess there will never be a decent video game movie, unless theyd be abel to pull a decent movie based on half life.

 

NOOOOO DON'T MESS UP DEAD OR ALIVE DAMMIT. I look more like Kasumi then that doosh, I say I should play Kasumi. Man the game-movies are starting to get really really old, along with the surge of horror movies (thank you lions gate). I always though the awful game-movies were worth seeing anyhow because they were funny, but its like nowadays there not even classicly bad....like bad games nowadays. I thought Mortal Kombat was an actual good movie. I didn't bother with the RE movies...I heard the first was good, the second just looked like total hype and mainstream cash in to get money from kids MY age (who all sport UMBRELLA shirts now). Let's just hope it doesn't totally bite....I think it'd be a better idea to make the whole thing with computer animation...or even realtime graphics lol, and have an aerosmith soundtrack.............

The silent hill movie is pissing me off too, there chaning the plot in the first game to some female trying to find her daughter instead of harry......which I guess is because some "hot" woman would sell better then Harry Mason.......arggggggggggggggggg

Yeah, the chick is pretty frightening and not at all similar to Kasumi. She had a pretty cool role in Sin City, but that wasn't due to her looks, or lack thereof.

 

She doesn't look even remotely like Kasumi, but I don't think she is ugly, each to their own I guess hehehe

I never really liked the DoA games much and they never really had any decent story, so how a shit story is gonna make a great film is beyond me.

As shit as the MK films were I still quite like the 1st strangely, even though it's badly made it atleast has 'character' and is reasonably accurate to the game. Heck by some miracle even Street Fighter was remotely entertaining .. But House of the Dead/Resident Evil/Alien VS Predator .... Euggh

 

I thought that the only way to make a DOA movie would be a Porno.
Oh well.

 

Shes german amrican japanese isnt she.... she was at school with a friend of mine in London! Aparently shes pretty cool.

 

She's still Ugly All this "Bitch" type of look does nothing for me. I'd rather see my woman happy looking than all moody. It's funny seeing the western fashion mags next to the Japanese ones. All the Japanese ones have beautiful women looking happy while the western ones have boots caked in make up with some moody "bitch" look to them.
