Are you sure these are yours @ping182, I can clearly see @Stipo360's name written all over those discs? ;)

Few people already asked me about it via PM, but I'm not looking for sale, I just want to estimate its worth - it's not easy, since as far as I know, eBay auctions with debug stuff are often pulled down (so I cannot search for completed listings). That's why I decided to ask about it here :).

Another thing that boggles me is the discs contents - without test kit, I cannot check it. I had hopes that someone stumbled upon it before and can shed some light about how much does it differ from retail release and of course is it something undumped before, or maybe just a generic preview build floating around the internet for ages... :)

@ping182 here you can check the contents of those builds.

I've written this entire in-depth analysis on the builds that are known!

    Some quick info for you:
2006/03/09 is Pre-E3, featuring a Debug menu. It is an EARLY Alpha and contains immense differences.
2006/04/04 is an internal build, similar in looks to Pre-E3, Debug menu present. Final zombies shown.
2006/05/06 is the IGN E3 mock up, it contains a debug menu and says "E3" on the title sceen. This was produced after the E3 build.

Whoa! Thanks for the link to your extensive post - gonna dig into it. It seems that it's not what I hoped for (build with early version of HUD), but it still seems to be worth aquiring test kit again.

What you can do though is make a .ISO of the discs and extract it's content (you can do all of this with a normal DVD drive and Windows), and from there check the file dates and a crc check to the retail version for example.

Hah yeah, 2005 would be the era of the super early HUD goodness. But that march build you have there has the really gorgeous grey health-block HUD!

If I had any words to share, it's if you ever planned to sell these, Stipo is the one that should get em.

Nice finds regardless. And nice way of packing em!

And regarding wanting to check the contents, depending on what method you want to use to extract the data from them (which is easy given you have the tools), you can save as an ISO or extracted data (both of which are nice).

If you have an XDK or modded system you can still play it (most of the time for modded) assuming you have an ISO or extracted files to work with.

If you have any questions about that process feel free to ask me - i prefer PS3 but 360 is easy by comparison.

I have to agree that these should go to Stipo, guy is dedicated as hell to Dead Rising and they would be in the right hands.
Congrats on the finds though man.

You're able to document builds that you dont even have. That in itself is amazing, and as such, you deserve the first spot in line.

    Also grats on 900

Yeah I saw this and thought of you @Stipo360 but then saw you had already dived in. I know exactly how long youve been waiting for this as well as I've been watching your channel for a long long time.

I also say they belong in the hands of Stipo, no doubt on that.

Should have known. Nice snag. I think we were all thinking about you specifically when this showed up. This is what happens when I have responsibilities and job shit; I miss the fun!
